"Come on, Tasha," you drew out the the last letter of her name, hoping she would give into your begging soon, "Please? We can go in disguise, it'll be fun." Your girlfriend shook her head at you.

"You really want to go?" You bit back a smile as you watched her determination crumble.

"I really really want to go." She shook her head with a smile.

"Fine. I'll take you to comic con." Natasha didn't understand your desire to go to the event. It was crowded and expensive, not to mention that the people there tended to be utterly obsessed with the Avengers. Real life superheros were a magnet for a lot of things, including weird teenagers who dedicated their time to people they didn't even know. She was well aware of all the fanfics on the internet about the two you. As if that alone wasn't creepy enough, the fanfics would get thousands of reads. But at the look on your face, her aprehension faded. You were positivly beaming. Nat could've sworn the room got physically brighter.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" You ran over to her and kissed her, excitement coursing through your veins. You tunred on your heel and began to leave the room. Natasha stopped you with a clearing of her throat.

"I just agreed to hang out with a bunch of nerds with you and I don't even get a thank you?" Her tone was light, full of humor. You rolled your eyes,

"I said thank you and I kissed you."

"That's not good enough," her words were pouty but her tone was full of desire. You chuckled, running back to kiss her again, the joy had given you energy, the kiss concentrated it. For a moment, you got completly lost in it. Letting it pull you in like the current and drown you in Natasha.

You pulled away, breathing heavy as if you had actually been drowning. Natasha frowned,

"Where do you think you're going?" It was more an order to stay than a question of your thought process but you answered anyway, your voice suddenly returning,

"I've gotta go con Tony into getting me tickets." Nat rolled her eyes, but you ignored it, throwing the door to your bedroom open and heading out to find the billionare, just as you had stated. Lucky for you, Tony owed you several favors. You had him wrapped around your finger.

A week later, you and Natasha were zipping up hoodies she'd stolen from various people in the compound. She passed you a pair sunglasses,

"These disguises aren't going to work," she said with a hint of teasing.

"They work HYDRA." Natasha laughed,

"Have you ever met a teenager? A trained criminal might not recognize us but the nerds will." You scoffed,

"Watch yourself. I'm one of those nerds." She kissed your cheek,

"Maybe, but you're nice to look at."

The ride to the con was silent except for Natasha's worn out green day cd playing in the background while she sang along, barely loud enough for you to hear. You loved it when Natasha sang. Her face would go all soft and her body would relax like she was melting into the music.

A car horn jolted you out of your thoughts as Nat pulled the car into a reserved space Tony had secured for the two of you. Getting in was alos no problem, thanks to Tony. He really had gone all out. Sure it was in return for saving his life, but still, you were impressed. Badges in hand, you strolled through the giant warehouse. You hadn't realized how many people would be here dressed as your friends, your girlfriend, and yourself. Natasha had been right, it was a bit creepy. The booths though, were really cool. You examined the merchandise wide eyed. A copper replica of Cap's sheild, a wood carving of Thors hammer, sets of knives with Natasha's symbol emblazend on the hault. What caught your eye though, didn't have a fandom attached to it. It was at a greek gods booth under the Artimis section, but that wasn't what had drawn you to it. It was simple. A golden chain with an arrow dangling from it. While Natasha was momentarily distracted by a person in an old man get-up cosplaying at Steve, you bought it.

The sales lady seemed bored. She recited the usual service worker greeting, "Hell, did you find everything you were looking for today."

"Yes, thank you." She scanned the necklace,

"Will that be all?"

"Can you put it in a box?" She did. You reached for your wallet.

"How much do I owe you?" She looked up and her eyes grew wide. You gave her a slight shake of the head and she looked down, bluch coloring her cheeks. You paid her and she handed you the box, which you shoved in your pocket. You shot her a smile.

"Thank you." You walked away, the crowd swollowing you up. WHen you finally reached Tasha you grabbed her and held on.

"You were right, these disguises suck." She laughed and took your hand.

"C'mon. I just saw a booth that sells shirts with Tony's face on them." You laughed,

"He definitly needs on e of those." Out of the corner of your eyes you saw the sales lady who had checked you out whispering to her coworker who jumped back, loosing her footing. When you made eyecontact with her, she gasped again. You quickly looked away.

"Tash," you said through gritted teeth. She looked down, worry coloring her expression. You glanced back at the sales girls, who were now telling more people around them. She sighed,

"Well that didn't take long."
