Ingredients:
-8 cardamom pods
-1 cinnamon stick
-4 cloves
-2 star anise
-2 cups of boiling water
-1 tbsp of runny honey
Steps:
In a pestle and mortar, lightly bash the cardamom pods and cinnamon stick to release their fragrance and add them into a small teapot. Sprinkle the cloves and star anise over the cardamom and cinnamon stick and add the boiling water to the small teapot. Stir in the honey until it is completely dissolved, then leave it to infuse for 5 minutes. Before drinking, taste for sweetness and add more honey, if needed.
