Ingredients:
-1 lemon
-10 strawberries
-5 large basil leaves, extra for serving
-5 cups of water
-ice (optional)
Steps:
Zest the lemon and sprinkle it into a large jug. Slice the lemon in half, squeeze the juice of one half into the jug, slice the other half and add them to the jug. Halve the strawberries and add them to the lemon along with the basil leaves. Fill the jug with the cold water and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with basil leaves and serve with ice, if desired.
Tip:
Try switching out the basil with Thai basil for a more Asian-inspired infusion.
