Ingredients:
-15 cranberries
-2 oranges
-5 cups of water
-ice (optional)
Steps:
Lightly crush the cranberries in a pestle and mortar. Scrape it into a large jug along with any juice. Use a knife to cut long strips of zest from one of the oranges, cut it in half and squeeze the juice into the jug along with the zest. Slice the other orange and add to the jug. Fill with cold water and leave it to infuse in the fridge for 2 hours. Serve with ice, if desired.
Tip:
Research shows that nutrients in cranberries can lower risk of urinary tract infection (UTI), the prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function and decreased blood pressure. Eat some dried cranberries as a snack to go with this infusion.
