A bit of both

"So.. was there a potential princess or perhaps prince back on your timeline?"

"A bit of both.. and I assume the same for you?"

Sylvia chuckled, looking down at her drink.

"I don't suppose either of us will be worrying about that from now on, will we?"

"Well, you never know." Loki took another sip of his drink.

"Oh! Um.. I'm not.. I don't-"

"Oh, no no no, not you. Not that you aren't-"

"I get it I get it, I mean I don't-"

"Yeah."

"Yeah..."

"....who, then?"

Loki looked down at his drink thoughtfully.

"It doesn't matter anymore.. probably hates me right about now."

"Don't tell me they're a TVA agent?"

Loki gave an awkward smile and took another sip, even though the drink was basically gone.

"Loki! That's madness!"

"Well, I can't help it! They're the first.. he's just.. ugh.." they took the very last sip their drink would allow them, then waved down a waiter for another one.

"Who is it, then? I mean you've told me this much, might as well go into the details."

"Thank you darling." He got his fourth drink from the waiter, and took a swig. "Well.. do you know which one Mobius is?"

"Not exactly. I've kinda spent my whole life avoiding the TVA, never really learned names.."

"Right. Well.. he's got a mustache.. gray ish hair.. nice build.."

"Oh my god you're the worst, tell me about who he is, why you like him."

"Oh. Right, sorry.." Loki fiddled with their drink, looking around the train and avoiding eye contact with Sylvie. "Sorry.. I've never really talked about this kinda stuff with anybody."

"Me either.... I've spent my whole life in different disasters. Hard to make friends when the world is about to end." She chuckled sadly. He chuckled out of pity, and sat up a bit, deciding to be a bit more brave then he was being.

"I suppose you've made a friend, then?" He held out his drink, smiling. But not his normal mischievous smile. A real, sweet smile.

"Suppose I have." She smiled back, holding out her drink and clinking his. They both sat there for a moment, enjoying the view out of the train and the quiet chit chat around them.

"Well then.. I think I'll be catching up on my sleep. I rarely get any rest."

"You sure?"

"Yes, you don't have to tell me about Mobius, though I'd love to hear it in the future. Keep an eye out, and don't act stupid.

"Ha-ha.."

She laid her head down, and Loki chugged the last bit of his drink.

"Right then."

"When she sings she sings come home! When she sings she sings come home!"

"Loki?!" Sylvie slowly came to, noticing Loki singing and dancing, causing a huge scene out of disguise. All he did was wave at her dorkily, and she confusingly waved back. "Where's your uniform?!"

"I prefer this one! Come dance!"

"No! We're supposed to be laying low."

"Shh shh shh.." Loki silenced the entire crowd with just that, and looked off into the distance thoughtfully. In a much more beautiful voice then Sylvie was expecting, Loki sang the last verse of this Asgardian melody, looking as if he meant every word, in his majestic language in which he strung together each word perfectly. Then, as if the room hadn't been brought back to earth with his voice, he just started clapping happily again, the crowd following along, and dancing drunkenly.

Sylvia shook herself awake and out of the (metaphorical) spell Loki had cast on the room with his voice, running over to him.

"Loki, we are supposed to be laying low, what are you-"

"Sylvie! I'm so glad you're here, you have to try this, it pairs wonderfully with the uh-"

"Why are you wearing this?"

"Oh, this? You were right, you know. I need to talk about my feelings, with Mobius though, I think we should go back."

"We aren't going back you twit! Especially if you get us caught and won't give up the tempad!!"

"Hey!" They both whipped around, a small crowd of fully armed guards staring them down.

"Oops."
