"You did what?" I ask with wide eyes and he sighs

"It doesn't matter right now, we'll talk about it later. We need to talk about where you were tonight" he says and I'm about to push him to tell me how he killed her but the sadness in his eyes stops me

"Well I already told you I was at the gas station" I say slowly

"We know but why? If you needed anything you could've told us" Santi says but his phone rings and he steps out to answer it

I'm about to lie the only way I know will get me out of here and tell them I got my period unexpectedly but Rune senses it

"Don't lie Nova we both know that wasn't it" he says looking me in the eye before looking away again

"Well you know what I was looking for. Do you want me to tell them? Want to push me to talk about that night because I can't and I'll be damned if you force me to" I grit out and he turns to me so fast

"No Nova! I'd never push you like that it's your story to tell, not mine. But don't disrespect them with lies when you don't want to tell the truth" he says sighing and rubbing his eyes

The others are watching us, Santi is still on the call

"He's right, I'd you don't want to tell us yet then say so but I don't appreciate being lied to Nova" Emilio says tiredly

"Hey...umm...dad? Elías llamó" Santi says as he comes back to the room with wide eyes and a pale face
(Elías called)

They all stand up alarmed, Emilio looks over at Rune and me and winces

"Qué dijo? Encontró algo?" Emilio asks
(What did he say? Did he find something?)

"No. Por eso viene de vuelta...pa, creo que algo malo pasó. Sonaba preocupado, si el no los pudo encontrar entonces quién?" Santi says frustrated

(No. That's why he's coming back...dad, I think something bad happened. He sounded worried, if he couldn't find them then who will?)

"Shit. Cómo le decimos a los gemelos?" Lucas says
(How do we tell the twins?)

"Decirnos qué?" Rune and I ask at the same time and they turn to look at us

"Goddamnit I forgot your mother taught you Spanish" Lucas says and the others chuckle

"Well? Who's Elías and who is he looking for?" Rune asks coming to my side, he may be mad at me but his protective instincts never go away

"Eli es mi gemelo" Santiago answers and my eyes widen, Rune grabs my hand
(Eli is my twin)

"Your twin? Emilio you said you had three sons not four. Is he exiled from the family or some shit? Why the fuck did you lie?" I snap and he flinches

"Eli has been away for the past two months in search for two of our enemies, they're well trained and we haven't been able to catch them. They're always two steps ahead of us" Emilio starts

"My twin is the best out of all of us when it comes to our training. Things started to get complicated with the brothers, they killed in a bunch without apparent reason — specially our men — threats started coming and we decided we needed to deal with them" Santi continues
