Chapter 4

Emma wakes up to her phone ringing, she looks at her alarm it was 10:30 AM, she had sleep in since it was Thursday her day off. She saw it was Mary Margaret who was calling her she picked up.

E: Hi Mary

M: Hi Emma did i wake you up ?

E: Yeah but don't worry I would have wake up soon anyway, what's up ?

M: Well David and I have an appointment for the house at 6:00 PM so I was wondering if you could take care of Leo while we're gone and maybe you could stay for dinner too.

E: I'd love too it's been a while since I babysit Leo. I'll be here at 5:45 if it's fine with you.

M: That's great thank you so much. You stay for dinner too ?

E: Yes if you want.

M: Great well see you tonight

E: See you.

She gets up and prepares herself for the day. While she was preparing herself she keeps replaying the discussion with Kilian in her mind. He said that he will always respect her even if they aren't together does that mean he considers the idea of them together possible. Not that she doesn't want to she is just to scared right now because what if something happens, what if he leaves her even if he says he won't you never know what could happens.

When it was 5:30 she goes to David and Mary Margaret's house, she knocks at the door and David open.

"Hi Emma come in, thank you for taking care of Leo tonight"

"Hi David, no problem at all it's always a pleasure to take care of him"

Mary Margaret come with Leo in her arms

"Hi Emma" she hands her Leo

"Hi Leo" say Emma, Leo smiles at her

"We should go we are going to be late" David say

"See you later Emma"

"Yeah see you"

Emma brings Leo in the living room and put him down on his play mat and start playing with him.

Leaving their meeting David receives a text from Kilian

K: Hey Dave, it's been a week since we saw each other so I was thinking that maybe I could come over to your house to catch up with you ?

D: Of course you can come have dinner, Emma is here too so you can see her.

K: I don't want to introduce

D: Don't worry I don't think Emma would be disappointed if you come.

K : Okay then see you at 7:00 PM

D: Perfect

"Kilian come over for dinner tonight" David tells Mary Margaret

"Oh that's a good thing he and Emma can bond more tonight then"

"Don't worry they already start bonding "he say chuckling

"Really ?"

" Yeah Kilian tells me that he comes every morning at her bakery and that they discuss a lot and get to know the other most"

"That's wonderful I'm sure they will be perfect together"

"Don't push it Mary you know how Emma is, she is protecting herself so she won't let him in so easily"
