Chapter 24

Emma was woke up by her man who deposes kisses all over her face. She smiles, she loves being wakes up next to him.

"Humm good morning" she says

"Good morning my love" he kisses her on the lips before stopping and looking at her.

"How are you ?"

"I'm better, I sleep well after my nightmare. Thank you" she pecks his lips

"Your welcome"

"Do you have to work today ? "

"Aye but don't worry I'll be home sooner that yesterday"

"Good"

"Isn't Regina coming today ?"

"Oh crap, I forgot, I have to get ready" she gets up and Kilian follows her. Alice was already awake and ready for her day.

"Hi guys" she says seeing them

"Good morning Alice"

"Good morning mom"

"What are you guys planning today"

"Well I have to be at work in 20 minutes so I'm late" says Kilian eating something quickly before going to the bathroom.

"And for me Regina is coming over at noon so we can have lunch and catch up"

"Well I won't disturb you girls, I'm going out with a friend I haven't see in a like time."

"That's great" Emma says smiling

Kilian emerge from the bathroom and comes give a goodbye kiss to Emma before heading to work. Alice left not long after him and Emma was getting ready. Regina comes at noon and she had brought granny's for lunch. They catch up a lot Regina told her about the bakery and Emma about Kilian's father and recent news they had.

"And how are you ?" Regina asks her

"I'm fine, I suppose physically it's getting better and mentally too even if I know that it will never totally heal. It was too painful and took us by surprise that I don't know if we ever be fully recover from this"

"I know, you can count on me if you ever need something"

"I know thank you Regina"

"How is Henry ?"Emma asks, she didn't see her nephew in a while now

"Hems growing up so fast you have to come with Kilian for dinner someday, he misses you a lot"

"I know I'm sorry we saw each other less than before it's just that with everything that happened..."

"Hey it's okay Emma i wasn't accusing you, i know you went through a lot, plus i see you everyday so don't worry about that, I don't miss you too much" she says grinning

"I know I know" Emma chuckles

"Well I should go, it's getting late" Regina says

"Yeah, Kilian should be here soon, he says he was coming earlier than yesterday"

"Well I'll go, take care of you Emma" she hugs her

"Thank you for coming, I see you next week at work"

She leaves and Alice comes not much longer after.

"Hi Alice, how was your day ?"

"It was great, we had a lot of fun. We went to shopping and then to the cinema. It's been a long time since I had a day like this"

"That's great to hear" Emma says a little worried and was looking at her phone often. Alice saw it.

"Is something wrong Emma ? Did I say something wrong ?"
