Chapter 8

Kilian wakes up to a familiar heat next to him. Emma was snuggled up against him with her legs tangled with his. He loves waking up next to her, it was the first time. He was surprised when she asks him to stay yesterday, he thought she would need more time to let him enters an intimate part of her but after what happened last night she needed to have him close to her. They just lay down and snuggled together until they fall asleep. When he woke up he takes his time to watch her sleep. Her lips were curls in a small smile, her golden curls all over the pillow, there was no worry lines on her forehead and he was glad she was peaceful. He resisted the urge to kiss her and caress her cheek instead. She starts to stir and opened her eyes, her smile widened when she saw him.

"Good morning sleepy head" tells her Kilian

"Good morning to you too, have you been awake for a long time ?"

"30 minutes maybe, I enjoyed watching you sleep"

"Oh really" she says laughing

"Aye you're beautiful when you're sleeping"

Emma blushes and buries her head in his chest

"Stop complimented me you know I hate when I'm blushing" she laughed

"And I love when you blush so I'll continue my whole life"

"Oh I'm damned then" she giggles

"Absolutely" he laughed

"What do you want for breakfast ?" she asks

"Whatever you desire Swan"

"Then it will be pancakes and orange juice" she says getting up from the bed

"You don't have to do them right now you know" he says grabbing her by the waist and putting her back in the bed

"And why can't I" she says chuckling and melting in his embrace

"Because I want to keep you near me a little longer"

"I won't be too far you know just in the kitchen"

"It's the end of the world and I will miss you too much" he says deposing kisses on her neck

"Pff you're crazy you know"

"Aye I know don't worry" he chuckles

"The real reason I wanted to keep you with me it's because I needed to do this." he murmurs in her ear

He turns her around and was now on top of her. He pulls her in a passionate and long kiss, she put her hands around his neck and kiss him back. Neither of them wanted to pull away but they needed air.

"Hum that's a really good reason to keep me near you then" she says her eyes full of love

They were lost in each other eyes when they heard the bell ringing.

Emma sighs and gets up, Kilian follows her. Emma opens the door and David was standing outside. David saw Kilian and sighs in relief.

"Kilian thanks god you're here, I went to your apartment but you weren't there and didn't respond any of my calls" exclaims David

"Aye I'm sorry my phone died and Emma haven't had a good phone charger so I couldn't recharge it but what's wrong ?"

"There is a problem with your sister's grave, someone trash it"

"What but how is this possible, do you know who did that, did my parents and Liam know that ?" Kilian says shocked

"We may have a suspect, he was seen yesterday near the grave and was angry"
