A lifetime with you

Chapter 2

As Emma was rejoining her car she said goodbye to Regina and the others before caughting a glimpse at Kilian who was smiling at her.

Kilian was watching her leave with a smile he couldn't undo from his face. When he talked to her he had felt an instant connection, something he never felt with someone else.

He was searching for David so he could tell him he was going to his apartment when he bumps into robin.

"Aw sorry mate" Kilian apologize

"No it's okay don't worry it's me.  You're Kilian right David's best friend who wants to teach music"

"Aye that's me I see you heard of me"

"Yeah well I wanted to talk to you, you see I set up my own music school and I was searching for a co-owner and I ask David about it and he said that you could be him ?"

Kilian couldn't believe it, the first week he was here he had a proposition for his dream job.

"Of course I'm in, thank you to give me that opportunity even if we don't really know each other that much. That's all I ever dreamed"

"You're welcome I saw you were a nice guy so I'm sure I will enjoy working with you."

"You won't regret it I can tell you"

"Well I see you on Monday then I will text you the address"

"Of course thank you so much"

Robin leave to find Regina and heading home too. Kilian told David he was leaving and goes to his apartment. Tonight was a good party he met a girl he really like even if he didn't know her that much he felt like he knew her since ever and he had gotten his dream job.

On Monday Kilian wakes up early ready to go for his first day of work. He was determined to succeed and make Robin proud of him. So he leaves his apartment and goes to a bakery near his work and was surprised to see the pair of green eyes he dreamed all night behind the counter.

"Swan, what a surprise seeing you here"

"Kilian hi, well this is the bakery we opened with Regina so it's normal I'm here, what can I get you ?"

"You're the boss, wow impressive. I'd like two coffee please"

"Well yeah that's my job and Robin hire you isn't he ? "

"Aye he proposed the job at Ruby's party which I gladly accept it's my dream job so I bring him coffee to thanks him "

"That's sweet to you, here your order"

"Thank you Swan, I will see you tomorrow then because all of your pastries look absolutely delicious and I think I want to try them all"

"Well thank you but it's August our pastry chef who did them, I just sell them that's all"

"You don't even bake a little ?"

"Of course I do but I don't do everything in there"

"Well next time I'd like to taste one of your receipt"

"With pleasure"

"See you tomorrow love"

"Yeah see you"

Emma watches him leave the bakery

"Hum hum" she heard behind her

Emma jumps a little

"Regina yeah what's wrong "

"Except the fact that you're staring at the door like you're disappointed he leaves nothing..."

"What are you insinuating ?"

"Maybe that you like him..?"

"Are you serious I don't even know him! "

"Well you chatted a lot at the party and the way you look at each other means everything "

"You're crazy, plus I don't want to have another relationship I swore after Neal I was done"

" Oh Emma come on I know what you went through was hard but you can't keep you heart away from love, from happiness and every men are not like Neal you pick the wrong one once  but that doesn't mean it will be like this every time"

"The wrong one you're too kind I pick the worst in the whole world. And I think it will take a long time for me to trust someone again if it's even possible"

"Don't worry I'm sure the next one will have piercing blue eyes "

"Don't start" Emma respond even if she won't tell her friend his eyes was in her head every time she close her eyes but after what Neal did to her she's not sure if she can trust someone again.

"I'm not starting anything just saying that you should take a chance at love"

"Look even if I wanted to take a chance at love I don't know him it's too soon to think about anything so can you just drop the subject"

"Well that a good reason to start then you have to know him"

"Regina please"

"All I want is your happiness Emma and trust me I know how it start and that's exactly how"

"Maybe but now I don't have time for that I have to work" Emma passes in front of Regina and goes to the kitchen.

"Yeah sure whatever help you sleep at night"
