Heathers POV
"Ok babe! Glitching allows you to move through matter, teleport, and if you channel the energy correctly, even use it as a projectile" I explained. "Ok" Zill smiled. Lightning struck outside and rain started pouring down. "I guess we're doing this inside" I said. "Can I have an example?" Zill asked. "Sure" I created a glitching ball and held it in my hand. Lightning struck again and it caught me off guard. I dropped it, it exploded in a green blast, and turned into a blob. "What the fuck?!" I yelled in frustration. I turned into a dog and tried to attack it, but I went straight through it. It came over to me and changed it's figure to look like a dog. "What is that?" Zill asked. "I don't know!" I said. It tilted its head and made a weird sound. "Is it speaking?" Zill asked. I shrugged. "What are you?" I asked. It slowly morphed into an actual dog, and then started barking at me. "Your name is arc?" I asked. It nodded. "Are you gonna kill me?" I asked. He shook his head and started barking again. "He's a Glitchen. His species went extinct a long time ago" I translated. "So is he gonna live here now?" Zill asked. "I guess. I don't know what else to do with him" I said. He barked again. "Welcome to the house Arc" I said.
A few days later.
"I hate computers. They don't make sense!" Zill exclaimed. "I know, but tech is an important power that you need to master" I said. I opened my computer. "Here, take my hand" I held it out to her. She took it and I sucked us into the computer. "Ah!" She fell and I helped her up. "Are we on your home screen?" She asked. "Yeah. Those are all my apps and that's the search bar" I pointed around. A guy appeared in front of me. "Ahh!" We shrieked. "What is that?" Zill asked. I shrugged. "I am your computer and game instructor, but for better understanding you may call me Gabriel" he smiled. "Ok... that's new" I said. "New updates can be found in the play store" he said. "Oh my god, he's a living computer" Zill says. "I was created after Heather mistakenly used life magic to transport in here" he explained. I walked around him and he didn't even look back at me. He just stared forward. I saw a chip in the back of his neck and raised an eyebrow. I yanked it out of his neck and he screamed in pain. He fell to the ground. Zill and I just stared at him. "Is he dead?" I asked. He groaned. "I guess not" Zill said. He slowly got up and tumbled over himself. "Did you actually just free me?" He asked me. "I guess" I shrugged, still confused. "Thank you?" he said, just as confused. "Come on Gabe. You can stay with Arc" Zill smiled at him. "Who?" He asked. "Never mind that. Just come on" I said. We got out of the computer and Gabe was so confused. "Arc!" I yelled. He came running in his glitch form. "You're a Glitchen" Gabe said, shocked. Arc turned into his human form. "He cant speak English" I said. "I speak glitch if that easier" Gabe said. Arc made his weird sounds. Gabe smiled. Arc grabbed his arm and ran off. "Ok then" I said. "Was that supposed to happen?" Zill asked. "No. And I think we're done trying new things until I can stop bringing them to life." I said.
...
"Wait... that's how you met Arc and Gabe?" I asked. "Yes Kat. That's how they were made." Heather said. "Ha! You fucked up your powers and made your best friends." I laughed. Heather frowned. "Moving on-" She grumbled.
