Retrella

Retros POV
"Can you believe that on earth 31, we're dating?" Ella asked, disgusted. We're in our room. "Yeah that's super weird" I agreed. "At least we agree on that" she huffed a laugh. "Yeah" I said with a laugh. She went into the bathroom and got in the shower. I sighed as the bathroom door closed. "Would it really be that crazy?" I whispered. I looked down and shook my head disappointedly. I do like Ella, but there's no point in trying to tell her. As far as she knows, we hate each other. 

The alarm went off. "Again?" I groaned. This keeps happening. The cyber bugs attacked again. They're giant poisonous bugs that keep escaping from the computer company. I don't know why they don't just destroy them. We arrived pretty quickly. "Arrows!" A guy yelled. "Patrick what happened this time?" I asked. Patrick is the guy who keeps letting them out by accident. "I've made a portal right there. If you can get them through the portal they'll be stuck in the trash of my computer forever" he said. I looked at the portal and then him. "What's the catch?" I asked. "You need to make sure that you don't go through it, because once you're in, I cant get you out" he said. I sighed. "Of course." I groaned.

We've been fighting these things for awhile. We got most of them in the portal but there's two left. Addison kicked one of them in. "Good job Addy!" I yelled. Sky and I shoved the last one in with our powers. "Yes!" I yelled. "So is that it?" Sky asked.  "There was only nine?" I asked. "I guess. Lets go home. I'm tired" Sky groaned. I counted to make sure I had all of my team. "Aren't we missing-" I got cut off by a scream. "Ella!" We all yelled. "Nope! There's number ten!" Sky said. Ella was bleeding badly. Her veins were green. She had been poisoned. I jumped down to her. "Retro you're gonna get killed!" Max yelled. I blasted the bug. Ella couldn't move, she was too weak. The bug dragged Ella with it into the portal. I grabbed Ella's hand and pulled back. "Ella hold on!" I yelled. "I cant!" she squeaked. I had her arms but the bug had her feet. Her feet were through the portal. I felt a pull and looked back. The arrows grabbed me and helped me pull Ella out. We did it and the bug flung back into the portal. We all fell to the ground and Ella collapsed on me. "Shit!" I shrieked. "Retro is she ok?" Connor asked. I couldn't respond. If I tried to talk, I would have cried. I looked up at Sky. I knew she would understand. Sky's eyes started to water. "Guys... she's gone" Sky broke the news. I couldn't hold it anymore. We all sat there for a moment of silence before we got up and went home.

Telling her family broke my heart. Her parents, her sisters, and her brother. I felt so bad. Word spread across our friends pretty quickly. I asked Kat if the other Ella would be ok. She said yes but that she cant come to this earth again or she'll die. Kats dad was unfazed by the whole event. "Retro can I see her?" Zed asked. "Sure" I shrugged. I led him into our medical room. She laid there on the bed. "Why is she not decaying?" He asked. "Its only been a day" I huffed. He touched her arm and smiled immediately. "Retro, she's alive" he said. "What? But she doesn't have a pulse and she's not breathing!" I said. "You said you were attacked by cyber bugs right?" He asked. "Yeah?" I said. "Gabe told me that their poison is called prank juice. Do you know why?" He asked. I shook my head. "Because it has a bad affect on the person but it doesn't kill them. Ella is alive, but her body doesn't know it" he said. I'm so confused. "Just trust me Retro. I can get a cure. I'm sure of it" he said. "You're giving me hope Zed. If you cant do it than she wont be the only one who dies" I threatened. "Noted" he said.

A few days later, Bailey walked in. "Retro?" She asked. I looked up at her. "Gabe and Zed ran out of ideas. I'm really sorry" she said. I looked back down. "Can you leave me alone please?" I asked. She walked out. "We tried" I said. I looked up at Ella. "I don't know if you can hear me, but we really tried to save you" I said. I'm barley keeping it together. "I know its too late, but I need you to know... I love you Ella. You were never just a friend to me" I admitted. I brought her hand up to my face and kissed it. Then I rested my head down on the rail and started to cry. There was a short silence. "Are you crying over me?" I heard. I looked up shocked and Ella raised an eyebrow at me. I hugged her immediately. "Ok jeez!" She squealed. "Don't do that to me!" I shrieked. She laughed a little. "I love you too" she said. I pulled back and looked at her. "You could hear me?" I asked. "A little" she shrugged. I smiled. "I gotta get your parents. I'll be right back." I said. "Hold on. I have a better idea." Ella smirked.

I walked out. "Are you ok Ret?" My dad asked. "Zed was right" I said. "What?" Zed asked. "She's ok" I said. They all looked confused. "I don't know what you're calling ok. This is painful" Ella said. I smiled. Ella got tackled by her siblings and she hugged her parents. "But how?" Zed asked. "I don't know. She just woke up" I said. "I think it has something to do with you kissing me" Ella said. I blushed. "You did what!?" Sky shrieked. "It was just her hand!" I yelled. "That makes sense" Gabe said. "It does?" I asked. "I said it was like a curse" he shrugged. I looked at him confused. "What breaks a curse?" He asked, like I was stupid. I flicked him off. Dylan laughed. "True loves kiss!" Dylan laughed. I pushed her into the wall. "How could you two be each others true love? You two hate each other" Addison said. "That's not true" Ella said. "Really?" The arrows were not convinced. Ella wrapped her arm around my shoulder. "You don't know everything" she said. The arrows looked at each other confused and disturbed.

Kats POV
"Personally, that ones my favorite." I said. "Because it had cool bugs? Or because Ella almost died?" Lizz asked. I raised an eyebrow. "Because dads in it! Damn, what's wrong with you? What do you have against Ella?" I asked. "Nothing! I'm fine with Ella." Lizz lied. "Is it because she's Kara's best friend and you're jealous?" I asked with a smirk. She glared at me. "Shut up. Go to the next story." She huffed.
