Solar Flare and Shock Wave

Heathers POV
"Girls! Come out here!" I yelled. Kara, Santana, and Kat walked out. "Meet your new sister, Amber" I pointed to the small red head beside me. "What! Why didn't you tell us about this? Does mom know? What the hell is wrong with you!" Kara started screaming. I lifted my hand and she went mute. She glared at me through the silence. "It was your mothers idea. I knew you were going to yell at me anyway so I didn't tell you. Understand?" I asked. Kara nodded and I unmuted her. "This earth is so weird" Kat walked away. "Amber, that's Santana, Kara, and Kat" I introduced them. "Ok" Amber shrugged.

Amber is in her room. I flipped through her file. "What the fuck?" I asked myself. I went down to her room. I knocked because I know her girlfriend is over. "Come in" she said. They're watching a movie. "What does Human Benefits mean?" I asked. Ember and Amber exchanged a strange look and then looked back at me. "I don't know" Amber shrugged. I raised an eyebrow. I don't even need my powers to know that she's lying. She wants to play this game? In my house? She'll have to learn the consequences. "Alright" I walked out.

Ambers POV
"She didn't believe you" Ember said. I rolled my eyes and punched her in the arm. "No shit. I'm not telling her though. Besides, I'm sure her idiotic kids have lied to her before. I doubt that the 'big and scary Paws' is gonna come out of retirement just because the new girl lied" I snapped. She laughed. "Yeah you're right" Ember said. She went to kiss me but I grabbed her face and pushed her back. "No" I huffed. "Why wont you let me kiss you?" She asked. "See, every time we kiss, it brings me back to when we first met and that isn't a good thought" I said. "Why was it bad?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "Are you stupid?" I asked.

Flashback
I'm on my phone under a tree. A girl popped her head out from the leaves and hung upside-down. "Hey" she smiled. "Hi? What the hell are you doing?" I asked. "For the last ten minutes I've been watching you play games on your phone" she said. "Creepy but ok" I said. She lifted herself back up and then jumped off the tree. "Why were you in a tree?" I asked. She knelt down to me. "Because its my tree. You're on my land" she said. "Oh ok. Sucks for you" I looked back at my phone. "You're snarky" she smirked. "You gonna have me removed? Cops cant call my parents since I'm an orphan" I flicked her off. Her face immediately changed. "What happened?" She asked. "My dad tried to abuse me so I left" I shrugged. She held out her hand to me. "What are you doing now?" I asked, annoyed. "Come with me. You don't have a home, so let me be your home" she said. "That was the worst pick up line ever" I stood up. She pulled her hand back. "Did it work?" She asked. "You could say that" I shrugged. 

We're in her backyard. She's dancing to her music like an idiot. I'm just laying on one of the chairs with my sunglasses on. "You're an idiot" I said. "I'm your idiot!" She said. She leaned over me and went to kiss me. I grabbed her face and pushed her face back. She sighed. "Of course you two are next in line" we heard. We looked over. "Who are you?" Ember asked. "I'm Daniel. I'm non-binary. And you two have been chosen to wield the Chrajx" they said. "What?" I asked. I put my glasses on my head and sat up. "You get to wield some very powerful weapons that give you the power of time travel. Amber, you have the time sticks that can set stuff on fire and Ember, you have the travel stick that can shoot electricity" they explained. "Is this a joke?" Ember asked. "Oh my god babe. You're asking good questions for once. I'm so proud of you" I sad sarcastically. She rolled her eyes. "Raise your hands to the sky and pull at the air. You'll summon your sticks" they said. Ember and I looked at each other, and then Daniel, and sighed. If we do this maybe they'll go away. We lifted our hands and two sticks came into mine while one came into Embers. We were zapped into our suits. "Woah!" I looked down at myself. "Enjoy" Daniel groaned, and disappeared. "What do we do now?" Ember asked. "Whatever we want" I smirked. "So...?" Ember smiled hopefully. I groaned. "I guess that applies to that too." I sighed. "Yay!" She leaned down and kissed me. 

End of flashback
"I don't understand why your file says human benefits when we cant even use the Chrajx anymore." Ember said. "Yeah. Daniel never said that we had rules" I groaned. "I guess we should have known that blowing stuff up would get our powers revoked. Wait! Why was that a bad kiss?" she asked. "Because we were given stupid powers!" I snapped. "Oh." She looked down.

I'm at the mall with Santana and Kara. I don't want to be here but I had to go. We heard a gunshot and bolted to the nearest store. Santana made us invisible. She put her finger to her mouth to shush us. Kara transformed into her suit and walked out. Her suit is a dark red with a black outline. Her hands and feet are solid black. She started running and we heard a boom. "Is she ok?" I whispered. Santana just nodded.

Embers POV
I saw on the news that there was a shooting at the mall. The Arrows are patrolling the outside but they cant get in. Zill is in there with Kara, fighting the people inside. "Ambers there!" I shrieked to myself. I have to get to her.

I'm outside but I cant get in. There's no way inside. I watched Kara fly out of the building. Gold talked with her and gave her some sort of small bottle. Her veins were glowing green until she drank from the bottle. The shooters must have Cytosine. Santana and Zill wont do any better than Kara against them. In a moment of panic, I lifted my hand to the sky and just hoped for the best. Surprisingly, my stick came to my hand and I was transformed. I was stunned that it worked. I spun my stick around and made a portal, then quickly dropped into the mall. 

Zill is with Santana. They look hurt. I saw the shooter. He's checking the stores and taking money. He's a mutant. Part deer it looks like. His gun is glowing green. He must have cytosine bullets. "Hey buck boy!" I yelled. He turned to me and started shooting. I managed to maneuver around his bullets as I got closer to him. I smacked him with my stick and kicked him back. I shot him with my stick and he was blasted back into the wall. I wanted to kill him, and I hesitated for a moment as I seriously debated it, but I didn't. He was already passed out and Amber was more important. "Shock Wave" I heard. I turned to see Amber looking stunned. I ran to her and hugged her. "Are you ok?" I asked, worryingly. "I'm fine. How did you get your powers to work?" She asked, stunned. "I figured it out. When we use our powers for good, we can use them whenever we want" I said. She stared at me for a moment. "God, you're such a nerd." She pulled me in and kissed me. "You know there's more shooters downstairs" she said. "Yeah?" I said, still shocked from the kiss. "Make sure you save me some" she lifted her hands. Her costume flashed on and the sticks came to her. "Lets kick some ass Solar Flare" I smiled.

We got them all. The police and the Arrows came in and took them away. I pulled Solar's waist into me and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around my neck. "You let me do it" I said, shocked. "You saved me babe. You deserve it" she said. I smiled. "Solar Flare. That's your name huh?" We heard. We looked over. "Paws?" We said, stunned. "Why are you here?" Solar asked. "For my daughters. If you haven't noticed, they got shot. Except one" she raised her eyebrow. We looked at each other nervously. "Ill see you at home Solar Flare, and I suppose Ill see you too Shock Wave. Oh and, don't lie to me next time" She said. "Yes ma'am" we said. She flew off with Kara and Santana. We breathed out relived. "So glad I'm not dead" Amber said. "Yeah" I agreed.

Kats POV
"I never really thought Heather 32 was that scary." Lizz said. My eyes widened. "Don't ever let her hear you say that." I warned her. Lizz huffed a laugh. "Damn. She's even got you scared." she laughed. "Rightfully so." We heard. We looked over and jumped seeing Heather 32. "Ah! What are you doing here?!" I shrieked. "It's not even your earth." Lizz shrieked. Heather laughed. "I'm just messing with you guys! Wow! That was the best joke I've done in ages!" She laughed. "Apollo?" We asked. Heather 31 smiled at us. "You two are too easy." She laughed and walked away. I looked back at Lizz. "Look who else was scared." I crossed my arms. Lizz rolled her eyes. "Shut up." She huffed. "That's all of it though." I said, closing my notepad. "Thanks for telling me all of that." Lizz smiled. I nodded. "You kept me in the loop all these years. The least I can do is repay the favor." I said.
