Home

At 7 a.m., the electric alarm clock went off. Jackson leaned over and hits snooze then a button on the side. The radio turns on, filling the early morning silence, before his ears could really hear it. He sighs heavily, laid on his back in the dense covers of his large bed.

He listens to the early morning host of the radio show announcing weather for the day. It'd be nice and warm, clear. Thunderstorms later in the week. He stretches with a groan, and finally sits up as the radio turns to music. Rubbing his face, feeling the bit of facial hair he had

, before getting out of bed. He mumbles softly and makes his way to the bathroom. Squinting as he turns on the light and comes up to the mirror.

Running water to brush his teeth and wet his hair abit. Pushing it back into some form of a fluffy, upward style. Rubbing his face he checks his facial hair before going out to get dressed. Jack pulls on jeans but doesn't fasten them, letting them hang open around his hips, and grabs a shirt. He turns off his radio clock and shuffles to the kitchen.

The young man hangs the shirt on a table chair next to his shoes before he went inside his kitchen. He turns on his coffee maker, it bubbles and gurgles as the water heats up. Jackson fumbles with boxes of coffee pods to decide which one he wants, brow creasing and making lines on his forehead as he reads. Then he picks one and places it inside the top of the brewer, tucking a blue travel mug beneath it.

As the coffee machine hisses and gurgles, Jackson drops four frozen waffles into the toaster. While listening to the coffee machine, he leans down, touching his toes for a long moment the straightens up, twisting to pop his back and neck as well. Then Jackson fastens his pants, pours in a splash cream in his coffee before slapping on a lid.

The waffles were wrapped in a paper towel, Jackson put on his shirt, buttoning up the front, rolling the sleeves and buttoning them as well. He smooths down his collar before putting on shoes and the back pack hanging on his dinning table chair. With waffles and coffee in hand, keys in the other, the young man leaves his home.

Work

Jackson gets out of his car, dusting a few waffle crumbs from his shirt. He grabs his backpack from the passenger seat and carries it in with his coffee. He looks up at the huge antenna atop the building before heading inside. He passes through the lobby, waving and sending a bright grin to the greeting lady. "Morning Lucy," his voice was deep and smooth. She smiles right back as he passes by into the radio studios.

Jackson passes by other sound rooms, where early morning hosts were finishing up on different channels. Jackson grabs his file from his personal cubby hole in a wall of many cubbys.

With the files tucked under his arm Jackson waves to the guy inside sound room 6. The man was talking into his mike and nods to Jackson. He turns on some music, and the light above the door turns green so Jackson went in, shaking hands with the ending host. "Good show man. I'll see ya tomorrow."

"Take it easy Jackson," the older man laughs abit. "You can get awful excited on the channel."

"Aww people love me!"

"That they do," the older man nods and heads out with a chuckle.

Jackson sets the folder and coffee mug on his desk, book bag beside the plush desk chair. He puts on the head phones, listening to the music as he brings up his own play list for the day and starts to edit it some.
