"Wait what?" Edmund asks and I notice everyone staring at me all of a sudden.

"Uh..." I trail off unsure of what to say. The first words I said didn't exactly work to my advantage.

"Edmund, it's great to see you," Caspian takes over for me and hugs Edmund.

"Great to see you," Edmund tells him not even looking at me again.

I stay by Lucy's side and she looks to Caspian and me and asks, "Didn't you call for us?"

Caspian and I share a look before we both shake our heads and Caspian says, "No. Not this time."

"Well, whatever the case, I'm just glad to be here," Edmund says sounding truly relieved.

Are things bad back at his home?

"We are all glad to have a High King and Queen of Narnia returning," I tell them, "You two know you are always welcome here."

"And you?" Lucy asks looking to me her question clear.

I look at Caspian again. I wish I would stop but he seems to be the only one saving me from my own mouth. Usually I'm not afraid to speak my mind but at this moment I am coming up short with smart mouthed answers.

"She has been a loyal Royal Knower of All Things of course," Caspian jokes.

Lucy laughs, "An advisor to the King! Oh Charlotte how wonderful for you."

"I figured I should leave all of the Queening and Kinging to you and your siblings. The fairest rulers in Narnia," I tell her, "Sorry Caspian, but against them you didn't have a fighting chance."

Caspian looks to me rather seriously and says, "We all know who you would pick over me Charlotte."

I feel my eyes widen and heart stop.

Edmund seems uncomfortable too.

I'm ready to make a mad dash to go anywhere but here, but that's when the unknown personnel drops onto the deck interrupting all of us. Literally he falls to the deck and looks around and rolls all over the deck panicked at the unfamiliar scenery. I wonder if that's how Jameson was when he first got here.

Reepicheep being on him and so close to his face doesn't seem to be helping the boy out either. The boy is shouting, "Get that thing off me! Get that thing off me!" He then rudely shoves poor Reepicheep off of him.

"What in the-"

I stop as Reepicheep slides right at our feets. Lucy looks overjoyed to see another familiar face.

"Reepicheep!" She exclaims smiling brightly.

"Oh!" He says surprised and turns around to face us, "Your majesties."

"Hello Reep," Edmund greets the bravest mouse there ever was, "What a pleasure."

"The pleasure is all mine sir," Reep bows before the two rulers, "But first, what to do about this hysterical interloper?" He asks.
