Thane's POV
I got to meet all the girls again. It has been 2 weeks since I got to meet all the girls for the first time. Slowly, I have been sending girls home. I am down to 10 girls. (Number after name is caste)
Blaire Chase 3
Quinn Meyer 2
Sabri Mercer 4
Lakota Gabden 3
McKenzie Baets 3
Elissa Duff 4
Emily Helmic 5
Berkley Wild 4
Camryn Wilcox 2
Coirtney Harle 4My favorite 3 are McKenzie, Blaire, and Emily. Emily made me a beautiful picture(shown above).
I still like McKenzie the most, but my father has been nagging me that I won't know if I like the other girls, if I don't try to get to know them.
I am required to go on a date with each of them before I send them home. I am going on my date with Lakota right now. I asked my father what kind of dates to go on, and he told me theater, private dinner/picnic, horseback riding, stargazing/walk through the garden, painting/drawing, or just sit talk.
I am planning on having the maids and the cooks make a small dinner that we could have in a separate room. I was in my normal suit that I wear everyday, and I was heading to her room to pick up Camryn right now.
"Thane! Wait up." I tured to see the one and only Amberly. I haven't really gotten to talk to her since this whole selection started.
"Hey Amberly. What's up."
"All the girls you have left are pretty nice except Camryn. Oh, and I am going on date."
"With who? When? Where?" I questioned. No guy is going to be going on a date with my sister until I approve him.
" I haven't asked her yet, but McKenzie. Just as friends though. Maybe gossip. I have never really hung out with anyone of the female gender."
"Have fun then little sis." I kept walking up to Camryn's room. I polietly knocked on the door knowing I was a but late, but a prince is allowed a few minute margin.
"This better be him!" I heard someone shout from inside the room. " Hi Prince Thane." Camryn said opening the door. Appearently every selection has their Celeste Newsome, a girl who is all about the clothes and money (A/N- I loved Celeste...). "Where are we going on our first date?!" She screeched with a high pitchy voice. I think I know the next girl I am getting rid of. No, I am not heartless. My father said people would judge me and call me heartless, but it is better to be honest than lie and they think you love them.
"We are going to a private dining room to have supper alone and talk."
"That sounds like so much fun." I escorted her to the room while we made small talk. I told the kitchen staff to make something that I would like but surprise me. The staff in the kitchen actually used to really know me because my father told me it's important other the person you chose as a wife might make fun of me. I remember that day I stopped going down there.
"Come on Amberly. The kitchen staff won't wait forever. Soon they will have to start supper, and mom said we can't be down there when they do because we will get in the way. " I called back to my slow poke sister.
"A princess alllllways walks like a lady Thane. Slow down." She said. Being the nice brother I was, I slowed down to make sure I didn't leave her. As slow as she walked, we eventually made it there.
"Hey Chef Marcus. Can you please teach us how to make pizza or Mac and Cheese?"
"Of course Princess Amberly and Prince Thane. Nothing would please me more." He said. "How about we make the pizza option." He quickly wipped together a dough together. We both got a section of the dough, and he was teaching us how to spin it.
I threw my pizza in the air and it landed on Amberly. I laughed, but she screamed. She stumbled around trying to get the dough off her head, and bumped into the stove. A pan of boiling water fell over her he-.
"THANE!" Camryn shouted. "Are you even listening to me?"
"I'm very sorry, but I am feeling sick right now, and wish to retreat to my room. You may have this meal brought to your room or you may go eat with all the other girls if their is time." I stood up and walked out.
