Chapter 10-Triplets- America's POV
"What? No one told me anything! How could I not have been told about my own children?" Maxon ranted. He must have noticed my wince at his voice raising because he stoped, thankfully.
" That is a lie. I told you." I joked half- heartedly, trying to lighten up the mood.
" So, is it a girl or a boy?" he asked, while his eyes searched mine, as if trying to evoke the truth or reaveal my soul. So much for trying to lighten the mood.
" My baby is not an it. Also, that it you were referring to is named Amberley II Madison Schreave." I answered, my smile breaking the world record. All my worries about Maxon being mad were all for nothing. I also didn't have to worry about the deformity. It was probably just Amberly's foot we were seeing.
Suddenly, a set of beautiful lips crushed onto mine. " Thank you." he wispered, pulling away.
Precisely at that moment the doors opened, and two more nurses came in. At first, I was contemplating whether or not to yell at the nurses for barging in and ruining our slightly intimate moment. I mean, seriously, can I have no privacy.
Little did I detect that they brought in my two other lovely newborns. Jaace, as I recognized, was handed to his father, and Amberly to I. A nurse gently grabbed Thane so that I would only have to hold one baby. Amberly is a lot smaller than her brothers. Therefore, considerably lighter.
" Maxon, did you assigned maids and gaurds for all three kids" obviously emphasizing the word three. I trusted him, but we were only expecting two babies.
" Everything is taken care of my dear. Is orange a suitable color for a girl?" he said/asked.
I loved the color orange. Without know if our third child was going to be a girl or a boy, or if we were even going to have another child, he did exceptionally well in choosing a neutral color.
" Orange is perfect. Would you like to take the children to their rooms with me?" I asked. Already knowing the answer, I hopped up and walked to the door " Comming slowpoke?" I asked, while giggling.
He shot up like a piece of toast out of the toaster. " Yes ma'am. " he replied with fake but breathtaking southern drawl. He secured Jaace in one arm and efficiently scooped Thane up in the other.
On the way to the bedrooms, we had to climb a set of stairs. (A/N- Don't know if anyone else feels this way, but when ever I see the word climb, I think of Miley Cyrus's song It's the climb.)
Stairs usually aren't a problem, but me just having triplets and all really took its toll. We were about 3/4 of the way up when things took a turn for the worst. I got a little shakey and before I could process a coherent thought, everything went black.
