the next morning was a bit uncomfortable for soobin to say the least. he woke up to a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, with another's leg thrown over his own.
he knew exactly where he was, and who he was laying with. he remembered everything from last night, including the confession.
only, he wished he had left like he had said he was and not had ended up in yeonjuns bed. now he has to face him and he wasn't exactly excited about that.
but he could say his head was killing him, so he slowly tried his hardest to peel off yeonjuns arm.
but with his luck, yeonjun woke to the lightest movement and jumped away from soobin.
"im sorry." yeonjun quickly and softly apologized.
"no your fine." soobin mumbled, pushing of the bed and awkwardly walking out of yeonjuns room.
he wanted to leave, so he went straight to pick up his shoes from the front and headed for the door.
as his hand was reaching for the door, yeonjun ran out shouting his name.
"soobin!" soobin stopped, not looking back.
"i don't like not hanging with you, seeing you and talking to you." yeonjun admitted, he walked closer to soobin, leaving only a few feet of distance. "I miss you."
soobins heart ached. why? why would his heart ache when the guy he liked was saying he missed him?
because no matter how much he missed him, there was still hyunjin, there was still the unreciprocated feelings. soobins brain of his already came up with yeonjuns answer, that he indeed felt something for soobin, but all completely different than what soobin felt for yeonjun.
soobin likes yeonjun, likes everything about him. his smile, his sweet kind heart, his sparkle like eyes, his warm hugs, the safety and comfort he always gave, just everything. but to soobin, it felt that yeonjun only liked him for friendship, friends with benefits, because in reality. they were never really friends, the benefits came to fast before they could become friends friends.
"no, you miss the affection. you don't miss me." soobin spoke facing the door.
"what?" yeonjun was confused.
"you don't miss me, you only miss what we used to do."
"that's not true at all, I miss our late night conversations, our movie marathons, sneaking out and having fun, I just miss being around you." yeonjun mumbled the last part.
"yeonjun," soobin turned around.
"I like you. but being around you is too hard for me." Soobin confessed.
"why?" yeonjun asked, speaking closer to soobin, which now there was only a foot between them.
soobin gulped at proximity, but because he to himself thought he was the only one affected by this, he tried not to show it.
"because I want more."
"more what?"
"i want you, not just a flash of you before you head off to talk to hyunjin, or sneak out to see him. I don't want to hear you talk about him, I want to hear you talk about me. I don't want you to see him, I want you to see me. I don't want him to hold you, I want to hold you, hug you," his eyes glanced down. "kiss you."
yeonjuns heart was racing incredibly fast, hearing all these things for the first time in his life from someone.
yeonjun smiled.

Fanfiction"I have a question." soobin started, using one of his hands to trace along the dark mark on yeonjuns neck. "do you really not remember?" he asked. yeonjuns breathing was quickened, "n-no." soobin nodded. "I wish you did." "why?" yeonjun asked. "then...
