"I have a question." soobin started, using one of his hands to trace along the dark mark on yeonjuns neck. "do you really not remember?" he asked.
yeonjuns breathing was quickened, "n-no." soobin nodded. "I wish you did."
"why?" yeonjun asked.
"then...
three days, it took three days for either soobin or yeonjun to talk to each other. soobin was to nervous to speak to yeonjun, considering hyunjins proposal for him. he was to nervous to hear what yeonjun would decide to do. he wasn't ready to hear it.
as for yeonjun, he was hurt and felt slightly upset at soobin. he understands that maybe soobin had taken off to think for awhile that day, but to not have come back to him and make an effort to even speak to him after the incident just confused and hurt him. he was so unsure of their relationship right now.
he didn't know where they stood.
it took wooyoung being the dramatic boy he was, for the two to finally have to speak.
"get your ass out here yeonjun." wooyoung banged on yeonjuns door until the door swung open.
"what woo?" yeonjun sighed.
"go with me to sans."
yeonjun rose an eyebrow, "um, no." he was about to shut his door, but wooyoung stopped him.
"get your depressed ass out of bed and come see your friends!" he grabbed yeonjuns wrist and began to drag him into the living space.
yeonjun groaned and whined, "but I don't want to g-" wooyoung threw yeonjuns shoes at him.
"look, we're worried. you go to classes and come straight back home. and while your home, your locked inside your room." wooyoung placed a hand on his hip. "your friends want to see you."
yeonjun sighed, "fine. but can we hang out anywhere else rather than soobins dorm?"
wooyoung quirked an eyebrow, "why? are you and soobin not okay?"
yeonjun thought about it, "we're not exactly speaking." he was honest.
"so that's why your so depressed." wooyoung shook his head.
"im not depressed, just tired."
"tired of what? all you've been doing is wasting away in your room." wooyoung pointed at yeonjuns shoes, motioning for him to put them on.
yeonjuns sighed and listened to wooyoung, and before he knew it, they were entering sans dorm.
once the two were in, they were immediately greeted with san and changbin.
"there's our distant relative." changbin greeted, "how longs it been? 2? 3 years?" changbin laughed to himself.
san smacked his head, "shut up will you?" changbin whined. "how come when it's only us, you always hit me!"
the two began to bicker but we're quickly stopped with the help of yeonjun.
"now, why have you been ditching us?" changbin put his hands on his hips, "because I don't like that." he playfully judged.
"it's nothing like that, i—" at the moment, soobin walked out from the hall, wearing an all black hoodie, with the hood up along with all black jeans.
"ill be ba—" he noticed yeonjun.
wooyoung, san and changbin looked at each other before grinning. "okay! we'll be back in a bit, yeonjun you stay here, we'll bring you back some food." the three of them rushed out, not letting yeonjun say a single word.
when they were gone, that just weighed down on the awkward tension in the living space.
soobin sighed and sat on the couch while yeonjun couldn't even bring himself to turn around. for some reason, he felt more embarrassed than upset with soobin.
"yeonjun," soobin called out.
yeonjun slowly turned around, barely making any eye contact. "hm?"
"look, obviously we were going to have to talk eventually. you know, before you run off with hyunjin.." he mumbled the last part, hoping yeonjun wouldn't hear.
though, yeonjun was able to catch each and every word he said. "hyunjin? how did you know about that?" yeonjun questioned.
"he told me himself."
yeonjun rose an eyebrow, "wait, so—"
"okay when?" yeonjun was lost on the subject.
"the night you left without me." soobin answered.
"you were still there? i thought you had left without me and decided you didn't want to speak with me." soobin scoffed.
"no, i made it literally seconds after you got on the bus, but it started to leave and I had to wait for the next one." he sighed, "but hyunjin was still there and told me about his little proposal for you and said you were basically considering it."
"well, i am...." soobin grew irritated. "why?"
yeonjun saw how soobin quickly flipped his expression, annoyance shown freely. "we were fine before we tried the whole relationship thing. we didn't seem like a stable relationship and it had only been two days."
"if anything, you would have been the main reason for me staying, but we don't work well. you cant seem to trust me and im afraid to tell you anything. im scared you'll react in a scary way or something."
"our relationship shouldn't be like that."
soobin chuckled lightly with annoyance, "and so what? instead of staying to work on it, you decide its best to take off with your first crush? you think that's the best answer here?"
"sorry to break it to you jun, but your only running away from what you think is a bad relationship. yes we only started dating, but do you blame me for being so damn skeptical with you? your constantly in touch with someone you were head over hills for, and it's nervewracking wondering whether or not your going to dump me and run off with him." he unhumourously laughed, "oh look, your already doing that."
he rolled his eyes, "if you want to go, then go. i won't stop you." soobin stood up and walked to the front door, opening it to find three boys with their eyes to the door.
soobin rolled his eyes at his friends and took off, leaving yeonjun stuck in place.
