changbin was beyond pissed, so pissed that once felix fell asleep, he snuck off and went straight to kais dorm.

changbin violently bangs on the door, not giving kai any time to jump away once he opens the door, only to be pushed back inside while changbin shut his door.

"transferred!? him?! and not you?!" changbin tried his hardest not to beat the shit out of kai even more so, seeing as his lips are busted and he has a swelling left eye and more.

"what do you mean transfer?" kai asks, nervous as to why he's being payed a visit from someone who's always hated him.

"because of that damn fight, they're transferring felix."

kais eyes widen, or at least try to only for them to hurt right away, making him flinch in pain.

"h-how do you know?" kai stutters, his heart racing from the guilt he feels.

"because of you, the stupid fight, the school is transferring him." changbin growls one last time before grabbing one of changbins pillows and throwing it across the room.

"look, it's no secret that I don't like you, and right now I really want to hit you." changbin scoffs, and breathes. "just find a way to fix this." changbin angrily speaks then barges out, leaving kai feeling like a complete asshole, full of guilt.

two days ago

kai shows up at the lunch table, where san is the only one present. they don't exactly ever speak but san isn't the shy type, he's good with conversations.

"hey" san nicely greets, only to be returned with a slight nod.

though they aren't the closest friends, sans still that sweetheart. "are you okay?" he asks.

kai shrugs, san gaining a frown.

"I know we aren't the closest, but you can talk to me. I'm a great listener." he smiles, finally getting a glance from kai.

"thank you." kai vaguely speaks.

san frowns again, taking in that kai just doesn't want to talk, until he hears a voice.

"i heard my parents died."

sans eyes pierce up at kai, immediately feeling awful about what's going on.

"you don't have to look at me like that." kai sighs, "everyone dies. it's something we have to deal with." kai strongly forces out, san not missing how a tear has slipped from kai's eye.

"i was close to them, but again not." kai looks down at his plate of food,"they were crazy and terrible but they had moments where I felt the love rather than pressure."

"I just wish I was able to have seen them one last time." kai mumbles and quickly wipes the tears that escaped.

then he looks up, meeting eyes with sans sad ones. "I swear if you tell anyone, I'll f—"

"i promise, just know if you need anything or anyone, you can come to me." san assures, receiving a shocking yet relief smile from kai.

then in an instant, it was replace with pain and anger, quickly getting up and tossing his food into the trash and taking off.

present day

"transfer? that's completely unfair!" wooyoung shouts, while soobin, yeonjun and taehyun sit on one couch, beomgyu raiding the kitchen.
