Its Only the Beginning (outsiders fanfic)

Chapter 2

Ponyboy's POV:

The gang and I were out of our minds bored so we decided to take a walk to the lot and hang out there. As we approached the lot we saw a bunch of socs huddle around something matter of fact someone! We all ran to go help the poor girl but by the time all the socs were gone and I had got to her, to see if she was okay, she had passed out. I tried waking her up but it was no use. Darry said itd be best to take her back with us! So Dally lifted her up bridle style and carried her back to our house. On the way home I noticed Soda staring at her and i couldnt blame him. She was awful pretty the way her hair shimmered in the sunlight and she had a good figure for a girl like her. I think Dally was the first to notice her belly button ring he smirked at that. When we finally got home we set her down on the couch and saw that she started waking up a bit. She finally opened her eyes an you could tell she was surprised to see us.

Rachel's POV:

When I started to regain consciousness I noticed many faces around me. My eyes finally cleared up and I sat up quick noticing how many boys were in the room. Now I was never really confident around boys. Sure I've had boyfriends but I was always shy around them and we'd only date for like 2 weeks. I've had many people tell I me was pretty and I believed it too but I just never really used it to my advantage. I finally snapped out of my thinking stage when one of them snapped a finger in front of my face and I quickly looked down and blushed. One of the guys stood up and sat down next to me on the couch. He said "Hi my names Sodapop Curtis but you can call me Soda, what's yours?"

"Hi my names Rachel, Rachel Summers but my friends call me Ray" He then proceeded to introduce me to everyone in the room "That's Two-Bit" he pointed to the one on the ground watching Mickey mouse (aka my new best friend!) "That's Johnny" he pointed to the one leaning on the doorframe looking very dien at his shors Johnny said a quiet hello then looked back down "My younger brother Ponyboy" the one sitting on my other side he looked nice "and that's Darry my oldest brother in the kitchen" Darry popped his head out and said a quick hello "That's Dally" he pointed to the one lounging in the armchair who i could tell was staring at me and when i finally looked over he smirked a wicked grin which gave me the creeps "And finally that's Steve my best friend we work at the DX together" I started to get confused and I think he noticed "You must be new here you see the DX is a gas station" "So Ray where'd you say you were from again",he said with a sweet smile. "I'm from Louisiana, my mom kicked me out because she found a new family"

"Oh well I'm very sorry to hear that, where are you staying tonight?" I just shrugged my shoulders. Then he did something I didn't expect he jumped right out of his seat and ran straight into the kitchen and started talking to Darry and after a few minutes ran back out and said," You can stay with us!"
