Chapter 17

Leo POV 

      I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna talk to Calypso. I'm gonna break up with her. Don't get me wrong I love her, or I did....But then I met Y/n. Gods, I've met so many girls. Now I'm a naturally hot guy, so most of those girls had fallen all over me. Except for Khione but that was a different story. 

    *later that day* 

  Calypso had been staying with the Dryads in a little tree house they had made her. Literally, they had weaved together some tree's to make a little house on the forest floor. It was surrounded by blooming flowers, vines and little birds that don't live in New York. 

"Calypso?" I rapped lightly on the door, 

"Come in!!" the sing song voice sounded slightly strained. I opened the door and walked in to see Calypso trying to put a box on top of one of the built in tree branch shelves. As she started to tip side ways I caught her and the box. Since last summer when we totally destroyed Gea and died, I had grown quite a bit taller. Percy no longer always beat me at basketball every time. Only eight times out of ten...

"Oh...Leo.."

"Yeah, hey." There was a painfully awkward silence, Super Sized Mcshizzle does not do awkward.

"I've been meaning to talk to you about something Leo. I think we shoul..."

"No, no, no."

"Leo, listen to me. I want to le...."

"No, I need to say something before I think about it too long." I might've drunken to much coffee, Piper told me not to but it's just so good, then again it might have been the nerves making my fingers twitch and spin the little machine that had somehow found it's way into my hand. "I love you Calypso, I always will. Hades I died for you! But there's someone else...I" My voice broke, which again, never happens. "I think we should break up." My hands stopped moving. my whole body froze as I looked away from the beautiful girl before me. 

"Leo I-" I started to interrupt her again but she kept talking. 

"Leo. I'm going to leave Camp Half-Blood. I haven't seen any of the world in so long..." She looked longingly and wistfully out the window. 

"I- that sounds- I hope you have fun." My hand had started fidgeting. She was okay, she had been thinking about leaving, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. I stood there for awhile, forgetting where I was. Focused on making the little machine. It was turning into a mechanical flower. 

"Leo, you should go now." 

"Oh uh yeah," I finished the flower and it started to play music and fly around, it'd petals opening and closing to keep it air born. "Keep it." As I turned to leave Calypso stepped up to me and kissed my cheek. 

"Goodbye Leo." Stunned bye all that had happened and how much my life had just changed, I started walking into the forest and found myself at Bunker nine.
