Alyssa's P.O.V.

The next morning I woke up looking around remembering yesterday's events. I can't believe I am back in my old room. It felt so weird not being woken up by one of the boys or girls telling me to get ready to eat breakfast with all of them. Although, I am glad to finally be home with my family I still miss it. Today I am going to focus on my day out with Alex. After a couple of minutes of laying on my bed, I finally got up to get ready. I changed into some black shorts with a green shirt and black shoes. I wonder what they were going to do with the clothes that I bought. It doesn't matter they probably were just going to throw them away. Although I was the same size as the girls maybe they were going to keep some? I finished getting ready and headed downstairs to see everyone already in the kitchen.

"How come no one woke me up?" I asked as I got a plate and filled it up with food.

"We didn't want to wake you up sweetheart. We knew you were tired and injured so we wanted to let you rest," My dad said and smiled.

"How are you feeling?" My mom asked and she helped Austin eat his pancakes.

"I am feeling better and well-rested. My knee doesn't hurt that bad anymore," I said and sat down to eat.

"Well, that's good because don't forget you told me we would hang out today," Alex said and smiled at me.

"Can I go too?" Austin asked as he looked up at us.

"Of course you can right Alex?" I asked and laughed.

"Yes we can go to the arcade," Alex said and looked at Austin.

"Yay! Let's go play!" Austin said and started bouncing up and down.

Once we finished eating we helped our mom clean and headed out. Alex drove while Austin and I sat in the back. When we arrived at the arcade Austin almost ran out of the car and was jumping up and down in excitement. We headed inside and bought the cards to be able to play the games. In the beginning, Austin kept dragging us to random games he wanted to play.

"Are you sure it's safe to be going out? I just got back home and I would like to stay there for a while" I said and Alex looked at me.

"Yeah, no worries. We do have some men on stand-by just in case, but we should be good." He said and smiled at me.

"I'm just scared that something will happen again. It was torture not being able to see you guys," I said and looked at Austin playing the game in front of us.

"It wasn't complete torture though was it? I overheard part of the conversation you had with mom yesterday," Alex said and I sighed.

"I don't think we should talk about that Alex," I said

"I can't believe they made you think they were actually being friendly with you," He said and I can see his fist curling up.

"I can't believe I was actually dumb enough to fall for it," I said

"I'm sorry," He said and I looked at him.

"What are you sorry for?" I asked in confusion

"For not protecting you and also for not letting you go out as much. Maybe if you had some friends you wouldn't have thought that they were being your friends," He said and I cut him off.

"Hey now don't blame yourself. It isn't your fault," I said and looked at Austin again.

"But it is! the day that they took you I felt like I could've protected you better. Like right now I can't even relax with my siblings. I have to be on high alert so that none of you can ever be taken away from me again," He said
