Alyssa's P.O.V.

"Your dad was shot," she said and started crying more. I was in shock, but Alex quickly reacted.

"Mom he has been shot before and he is okay and I can guarantee you he will be okay now," Alex said and hugged her.

"Yes but this time they told me that it's the worst he has ever gotten. Right now he is surgery and they are trying to look for the bullet" she said and I felt some tears escape my eyes.

"Mom, we have to get to the hospital where is Austin?" I asked her and she looked up.

"He is at his friend's house," she said and stared at the floor.

"Come on mom lets go," Alex said and we stood and headed towards the car.

Alex was driving, my mom was in the passenger seat and I was sitting in the back. I was staring out my window thinking about my father. When you are involved in his business there is always a risk of major injuries. My dad has been shot before, but my mom said this is the worst he has ever got. I can't imagine how bad this is I can't imagine losing my dad. I love my dad with all my heart. When we got to the hospital we walked up to the front desk and asked for my dad's room. They told us he was still in surgery. We sat down in a little room and waited for hours until a doctor walked into the room.

"Are you guys the Alvarez family?" he asked as he came in.

"Yes I am Trey Alvarez's wife," my mom said as we all walked towards him.

"Nice to meet you I am Mr.Alvarez's doctor. Your husband was shot in the chest and was in rough condition but, thankfully we found the bullet and the bullet missed any major organs. He lost a lot of blood, but he will recover. If the bullet would have been a few inches to the left your husband could've bled to death in a matter of minutes" he said and my mom started crying. Alex hugged her and I kept staring at the doctor.

"We just finished the surgery. He got a couple of stitches he will not be able to move a lot for about two weeks maybe more. You are more than welcome to go see him, he will be waking up soon. It would be good if he sees his family when he wakes up." He said to us.

"Thank you, doctor," I told him and he left. I turned to my mom and hugged her also.

"Mom he is okay and he will be okay and better than ever," I said with tears in my eyes.

"Thank god. I don't know what I would have done if I lost him" My mom told us.

"Come on mom let's go see him" Alex said and we walked towards his room. There was a bodyguard at my dad's door who let us in.

When we walked in my dad was laying down with his eyes closed. He was connected to some machines and he had a hospital gown. It was scary seeing my father like this. He was the one who taught me everything with Alex. Both of my parents mean so much to me they both are really amazing parents. I would not trade them for anything in the world.

Alex's P.O.V.

I know my dad has been shot before I was there once. I could have helped him, but I was just frozen in shock not knowing what to do. I know this time it was not my fault, but my father could have died and I wanted to hurt the people who hurt my father. I got up from my chair and left my sister and my mom with my dad. When I walked out I turned around and looked at the guard.

"No one apart from my family and certified nurses come in and out of this room you got that?" I told him and he just nodded.

I get out of the hospital and take my mom's car because it is what we came in. I turned on the car and pulled out of the parking lot. I headed down HQ to see what's going on down there. When I get there I see no cars outside so I quickly rush inside. When I get inside I see some of the boys.
