Chapter 55

Alyssa's P.O.V. 

"W-what's wrong with dad?" I asked him. 

"I don't know mom called me freaking out we have to go now." He said. I stood up, gave a quick kiss to Harry on his cheek and left the room. 

"Are you guys leaving already?" We heard someone ask. We turned around and saw the boys heading towards the room. 

"We were just about to join you." Louis said. 

"We have to go my mom called me freaking out." Alex said and I looked at Niall.

"We'll be back later." Alex said and grabbed my hand. 

We ran out of the building and towards the car. We jumped in and Alex told them to drive. My heart was racing and my palms were sweaty. I didn't know what was happening with dad. Alex kept yelling at the driver to go faster and I could tell he was getting impatient. I grabbed his hand and he turned to look at me. His face went soft and we had tears in his eyes. Whatever was going on with dad I know it isn't good. Once we got the the building we jumped out of the car and ran towards my dad's room. I saw my mom crying outside with Austin in her arms. 

"Mom? What happened?" I asked as soon as we got to her. 

"They took your dad to surgery again. His heart stopped and they were barely able to revive him." She said and continued sobbing. 

I could see Austin was getting scared so I grabbed him from my mom. I tried to calm him down while Alex tried to calm down my mom. I couldn't believe my dad's heart stopped beating and now he is in surgery again. I hope this time we get better news.

~Time Skip~

It's been a couple of hours since they took my dad and there was a doctor heading towards us. 

"Thankfully we caught what Mr. Alvarez had early so we were able to fix it. He is going to be okay, but unfortunately he is still in the coma." He said. 

I felt relieved that my dad was okay, but still sad that he wasn't going to wake up yet. The doctor said they were going to bring him back to the room soon so that we can see him. Once they did bring him back into the room we were all in there with him. 

"Where did you guys end up going?" My mom asked trying to break the tension.

I looked at Alex for him to explain to her. 

"I wanted to give the opportunity to Alyssa for her to be able to visit Harry while we were here. I talked to the four leaders and they came up with a contract that made us have temporary peace so she can visit him with no problem." He said. 

"You did what your father always struggled to do." She said and smiled. 

"Wait what do you mean?" I asked her. 

"Your father wanted to end that feud between them for years, but he never wanted to go against his father's wishes." My mom said and Alex was in shock. 

"All these years dad taught me that they were nothing but bad people." He said to her. 

"He just told you all that stuff because your grandpa made him. Just like generations did before him." She said to us. 

"This isn't forever peace I don't have the power to do that it has to be dad." He said and looked at him. 

"Well maybe you can convince to stop this." She said and I smiled. 

Maybe I do have a chance to be with Harry. 

"It's going to be tough but I really do think you can do it Alex." She said to him and he smiled.
