Chapter 60

Alyssa's P.O.V. 

"Alyssa." I heard a voice say and my heart dropped. It can't be him. I looked up and Harry's eyes were slightly opened. 

"Y-you're awake?" I asked in shock. 

"I have to go tell the rest." I said and he stopped me. 

"N-no please wait." His voice sounded so raspy. 

"Do you want water?" I asked him and he nodded. I served him water in a small cup and handed it to him. 

"Before you call them in I want to talk to you." He said and I sat down next to him. 

"The whole time I was here I could hear you speaking to me. It gave me hope and I kept fighting for you." He said and smiled at me.

"I am so happy to be able to see you awake again." I said and smiled. 

"I heard what you said about your father is that true?" He asked me. 

"Yes it is. His decision was to make peace, but keep you and I away from each other." I said and frowned. 

"Don't worry I think we can find a way to convince him." He said. 

"Are they in here right now?" He asked me. 

"Yeah they are in the meeting. Which means we still have some time for ourselves." I said to him. 

"Love, will you do me a favor?" He asked me and smiled. 

"Yes of course." I said to him. 

"I really want to kiss you but I can't so can you...?" He asked and I laughed. 

I stood up from my chair and kissed him. I missed the fireworks I would get when our lips touched. I felt him smile into the kiss and then he pulled away.

"You have no idea how much I missed that." I said and he laughed. 

"How long have I been asleep for?" He asked me. 

"I think three weeks or a month." I said and he looked in shock. 

"My dad also barely woke up from his coma." I said and he looked confused. 

"You don't remember what happened?" I asked and he shook his head. 

"The day they came to the house Alex tried coming towards me and a gun was fired. My dad jumped in front of him and got shot in the chest. When I ran to go check on them you ran after me and got yourself shot." I said and frowned at the memory. 

"How is your father?" He asked me. 

"Thankfully, he is doing better now. How do you feel?" I asked. 

"Just a little sore." He said.

"If you want I'll let you rest before the boys come back." I said. 

"No I want to hear what life has been for you without me." He said and laughed. He laid his head back and closed his eyes. 

"To be honest it's been really hard. When I would come visit you I would blame myself for what happened to you. Alex and the guys would try to start conversations with me, but my focus was always on you." I said and he gave me a small smile. 

"Then when my dad woke up and said we couldn't be together and it broke my heart. I have been trying to come up with a way to change his mind, but I am too afraid for him to get angry with me. I want to be able to show him how much I love you. I need your help. You need to show him that you have changed. Show him how much you love and care about me. You are the love of my life Harry and I can't lose you." I said and felt my eyes get watery.
