Alex's P.O.V.
We stayed there for a couple more hours. She was grabbing his hand the whole time and I occasionally made small talk with the rest of the guys. Mom had sent me a message saying that my dad was almost out of therapy.
"Hey Alyssa I don't want to be the one who does this, but mom just sent me a message saying that dad is almost out." I said and she didn't take her eyes off of Harry.
"How can I say goodbye not knowing if this might be the last time I see him." She said.
She got up, fixed his hair, and kissed his forehead. She said goodbye to the other guys and walked outside.
"I'll let you know what my father says about the treaty." I said and they nodded.
I walked out of the room and headed out with Alyssa. The whole drive back to my father was quiet. I felt really bad for her. I wish I can do something to convince my dad to let her be with him, but like he said I am not the boss. Once we got there we rushed back into dad's room and they brought him back in.
"Hey dad how are you?" I asked him.
"I'm good. I can walk it's just my upper body that is sore." He said and stood up.
"Can you guys give me some time with Alex so I can speak to him about the contract?" He asked and looked at my mom.
"It's fine we will go get a snack." She said and they left us alone.
"Did they say if we needed anything for this to happen?" He asked me.
"No they just said they wanted to speak with you before they did the contract. They need to talk to you in person." I said to him.
"Okay well set up something with them." He said and I nodded.
"Alex can I ask you something?" He said and I nodded.
"Have you met this Harry guy?" He asked me.
"No." I said to him.
"You haven't seen him these past times you went?" He asked me.
"No. The reason we have been going over there is so Alyssa can check on him. After you go shot she came running to you. Harry ran after her and they shot him in the chest as well. He has been in a coma just like you." I said and he looked shocked.
"I heard that from Alyssa, but I wasn't sure if it was true. Has he woken up?" He asked me.
"No not yet." I said to him.
"I have spoken about him with the rest of the guys and he sounds like a good man." I said to him trying to convince to change his mind.
"The story that Alyssa told you about him explaining the reason he attacked checks out?" He asked.
"You heard that as well?" I asked him and he nodded.
"Yes it does. They all confirmed it and they said Harry felt bad for it for a very long time. They even said he apologized to her for it and she accepted the apology. He has had a messed up life." I said.
"And the other one? Niall?" He asked.
"He took care of her like I would when she was there. I told him I didn't appreciate them taking her in the first place, but I have seen them together I can tell he truly cares about her. He was the one who wanted to meet Alyssa from the beginning." I said and smiled.
"Go ahead and call them to set up the meeting please." He said and looked away.
I walked out of the room and dialed Liam's number.
