you woke up to your phone ringing uncontrollably. your first thought was terry but it was actually draken blowing you up.

what the hell could be this important?

he texted you asking if you wanted to go out for lunch. shit you didn't know what to say. of course yes was the obvious answer but that's not the problem. you've never seen him in the day time though.

you're finally going to see how the sun light hits his face. for fucks sake your heart stopped. he wanted to meet at around noon, it's 10 now, and you have work at 5. easy planning.

you'll do casual so you look like you're not trying too hard. you had to keep your heart on lock no matter how fine he was. you'll open up to him once he can prove something to you. and so far he was already beat hanma by a long shot.

you just wore some ripped jeans and a t-shirt. before you get all dressed up for him, you wanted to see how he would do with this. but little did you know he was gonna roll up like this.

this man said he was gonna pick you up not cause a scene. you knew your condo complex was nice. but not nice enough for a lamborghini. a black on black lambo just sat in front of your sidewalk. you knew it couldn't be anyone but him.

he rolled down the window yelling, "get in loser, we're going shopping!!" you ran up and hopped in like a little girl. "you watched mean girls!?" — "who hasn't love?" he answered locking the doors.

"woahhhh this is nice ke- draken." you said looking around the expensive car. "you can call me by my government. it's cute when you say it." he said suddenly. "really?"

"i mean yeah, when you were yelling at me yesterday you said it." — "oh my god i'm so sorry!" you exclaimed ashamed of yourself. he reached over grasping your face softly, "i said it's fine."

he was so close you could kiss him, but he backed away. in that moment you finally looked at what he was wearing. he had on some black cargo pants that hugged his thighs just right. a random hoodie that you knew was expensive but looked cheap. and some yin yang 1s. god it  looked so put together and comfortable.

for once he looked his age. when he wore his suit he looked like an old man you couldn't lie. of course he had his hair down but you loved it that way. but one thing you couldn't shake was the way he drove. it was just the way he held the wheel. so comfortable and carefree.

you had to stop staring before he noticed so you looked away out the window. it was 0% tint. this was so rare in your city. he's really just a cool ass dude.

getting to the place it looked pretty average. but before he stepped out the car he threw on some sun glasses. his hair plus the sun glasses he looked like any other guy. which was probably the point.

"do you mind being seen with me or something?" you
asked him out of curiosity. you didn't want to be angry since you two were just getting to know each other but it was a question worth asking.

was he ashamed? or hiding something. how were you supposed to know? "it's just to protect you." he said very nonchalantly. he said it like you were supposed to know.

protect me?!

from what?!

"from what exactly ken?" you asked in all seriousness. you didn't want to be a smart ass because it could be serious. "i don't wanna go into detail about my past if you don't mind y/n."

you couldn't lie the secrecy made him 10x more attractive. if it was something he had to tell you he would so you weren't worried at all. carrying on lunch got interesting. well not really he just got some dorayaki and you got a sea food pizza.

"hey i don't want you to work that morning job anymore." he said out of no where. "why?! what the fuck? i need the money. and i have hella debt." you explained.

how tf would he say that. especially so suddenly. one we're not dating. and two what power makes him think he can say that.

but at the same time you didn't like the job anyway. so if he could give you a reason to quit fuck it why not. at this point you knew draken had to be a man with reason.

but one thing you don't fuck with is your money.
