"Karl, I want us to move here." Nick told me, squeezing my hands. "I think this would be the perfect place to have a family."

"What about everything back in Florida? What about basketball? What about the club? What about all my friends?"

He looked deep into my eyes. "Did Sarah and Delilah not tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"They're moving the club down here, they're going to live here." While I was processing he continued. "I think I'm going to finish this last game and then focus on you and this baby more than anything." He tucked hair behind my ear. "I've also been thinking about teaching young kids how to play basketball, I could start that over here."

I looked at him speechlessly, trying to form words. "I love you." Was all I could manage before kissing him. "I want to stay here."

He kissed back and smiled. "Stop making out, you both need to get ready." Sarah yelled, banging on my door. "The wedding is starting soon."

"Are you sure about this?" I asked, squeezing his bicep.

"I'm really, really, really sure." He kissed me once more before grabbing a bag off the bed and opening the door. "Let's talk more later?"

I nodded and watched him leave down the hallway before Sarah and Delilah burst through the door. "Get ready the wedding's in forty minutes." Delilah said, taking my dress out of the bag.

After rushing and almost forgetting to brush my teeth, I was finally ready. I was waiting outside when I remembered something. I need someone to walk me down the aisle. "Sophie." I grabbed her forearm as she passed. "Can- can you walk me down the aisle?"

She stared at me for a long, silent moment. "Of course, of course." She laughed and hugged me.

The slow music started and Sophie linked her arm around mine, smiling and kissing my temple.

God my life is so weird.
My mother in-law is walking me down the aisle because I have no one else to.

I almost started laughing as I walked down the aisle. Nick was staring at me when I was finally in front of him. He looked handsome in his suite. The pastor said a bunch of random stuff before the line was spoken. "I know pronounce you, husband and husband." I frowned and laughed quietly at the sound of it. "You may now kiss the..?"

I laughed. "Bride!" Delilah and Sarah yelled.

A smile spread across my lips as Nick leaned over and connected our lips. It was perfect, the people in chairs throwing flowers at us, my hands on Nick's neck, his on my hips. "We're staying here to start a family." Nick announced to everyone at the after party, I was tucked under his arm and his hand was smoothing over my stomach. Excited shouts and clapping came from everyone in the courtyard. He looked down at me, kissing the top of my head. "I love you so much, Karl."

"Karl Armstrong." Someone yelled.

"Karl Armstrong." Nick smiled and I grinned at the name, putting my hand on his cheek.

Everyone said jumping and jumping, they were all so drunk it was hilarious. One second I was blinking and when I opened my eyes, the middle of the cobblestone floor and cracked and water was raining out of it onto everyone. I screamed and laughed like everyone else, grabbing Nick's hand and pulling him closer toward the water. Jackets were thrown up in the air along with ties and flowers. I laughed and unbuttoned Nick's white shirt, exposing his perfectly toned chest to the water. He was laughing and smiling but kept his eyes on me. I took off my shoes and kicked them to the side, jumping in a puddle. "I love you." I yelled to him over the noise, tilting my chin up to peck his lips.

"I love you too." He followed my lips back down, kissing me for longer and harder. We finally went back to the room at four in the morning and I was tired, to say the least. I snuggled into Nick's chest, a permanent smile spread across my face. "Goodnight, baby."

"Goodnight." I kissed him for the thousandth time.
