My Love

I sat under the tree in the yard the vast open green field people use to sit in the sun I tried to relax ignore the fact my phone rang or notified me of something almost constantly I had tried to ignore it but it was getting impossible. I picked it up and wiped everything clear so it would stop telling me about it putting the phone back down trying to enjoy my afternoon.

I heard it ringing but I ignored it

I heard it notifying me over and over and over and over until I picked it up reading my phone

One new snapchat

One new instagram direct

One new WhatsApp

One new text message

One new email

One new linked in message

One new Google plus message

One new Skype message

I sighed and turned my phone off.

I sat having finished my work for the evening sitting at my vanity taking off my make up and sorting my hair out for bed when I heard a fast knock on my dorm door I was confused who would be wanting to see me this time of night but I went and opened the door seeing a large clearly expensive and impressive bouquet of white roses and lavender flowers. I was confused looking around the halls but they were empty, I picked them up struggling where they were so heavy, bringing them into my room noticing the card attached at the bottom. I picked up the card and noticed my name written in cursive on the front.

I opened the card out of curiosity giggling at the picture on the front it was a drawing of two bunnys one with a pink bow in her ears and another holding a carrot behind him with a present bow in the green top I opened the card reading it's contents

'My beautiful Girl

I cannot express to you the love and admiration that I feel for you, I wish only to be able to shower you with affections, I will do anything you ask of me, anything at all. I would lassos the moon for you or buy you the largest diamond or anything else your heart desires. I would do it for you if you asked it of me my love.

I sighed and folded the card back up I should have known better.

I put the flowers outside the door again and locked my door, bolting it tight.

I finished up getting ready grabbing my books and hurrying along to class for the day, the moment I stepped out of the building I felt eyes on me. I felt as if I was being followed. I could feel the presents of someone behind me I could feel the breath of someone breathing down my neck i hurried along into my building having to scan my I'd to get in feeling safe like I couldn't be seen or followed, I headed to my class and saw my usual seat on the hall there was a large box of chocolate and some more roses I sighed and threw away the chocolate giving the flowers to anyone in class who wanted them trying to get on with my lessons.

I finished up with my shower wrapping my nightie around my now dry body slipping my robe over my shoulders and heading back to my bedroom but as soon as I did I saw my room wasn't empty

"Y/n!" He smiled excitedly perched on the end of my bed, he jumped up in his fairly long and loose blue shorts and his blue shrodingers cat shirt he fixed his blonde hair and smiled widely "I missed you" he smiled

"The fuck are you doing in my room adam!" I yelled

"Shhhh" he smiled taking my hand "I snuck over" he winked taking my things for me and putting them away in my room

"What are you doing here?' I asked

"Well, we both have a day off tomorrow so I figured I'd sneak over tonight spend some time with you baby bird" he cooed holding my hands

"Adam. Can't you take a hint?" I sighed moving away from him

"What do you mean?"

"I've been ignoring you, could you not tell"

"... I know you're a busy girl."

"How was it not obvious I've been ignoring you? I blocked you? I haven't spoken to you in a week"

"I know your busy, I don't mind baby bird" he cooes trying to kiss me but I shoved him away "so... you have been ignoring me? Why?"

"Because you started getting creepy"

"Creepy?"

"Following me around? Calling and messaging all the time? Leaving presents for me?"

"But... but why would you find that creepy?"

"How do you expect me to read it?"

"As proof of love." He snapped "which is what it was. What I thought you knew it was" he says stroking my face

"You can't love me"

"Of course I can baby bird. I love you so very much"

"Adam! You can't be in love with me! I barely know you" I argued

"Barely- but you know more about me then anyone"

"Adam, is this really what all this is about?"

"Of course it is" he smiled "I love my little baby bird. With all my heart."

"Adam. We had sex. Once."

"So? When you know you know right?"

"Adam, this is not some crummy Disney original movie, this is not some broadway musical with a cast of high school dropouts, this is not some rom-com written by some lonely lady beside the beach, this is not how real life works!"

"But... but I love you"

"Adam, you don't love me"

"But, I gave you everything."

"Adam, we had sex" I said and it hit me "oh my God. That's why your going nuts about this isn't it?"

He nods smiling at me "my baby bird was my first" he blushed "I knew when I met you we were meant to be, I gave you everything I could ever give anyone and I love you will all your heart my beautiful little baby bird" he smiled giving me a little kiss

"Adam, I know it means alot for you but it doesn't matter" I told him

"It matters to me"

"It's fine we had sex. Nothing more"
"But... I love you. I know I love you. And I want it to mean something. You... you took it from me and I wanna be with you. I want you to be my girlfriend. I want you to be my little baby bird"

"Adam, fine. But you have got to stop following me around"
"Can I walk around holding your hand?"
"Fine, and no more giant presents"

"If that's what you want baby bird. Can uhh can I kiss you?"

"Alright"
"Could I stay here tonight?"

"Alright, Adam." I sighed "But no groping"

"Okay, I'll do my best"
