No Adam

I sat in my dorm trying to get this work done for the deadline next week, it wasn't much but I had been putting off finishing it. I heard a knock on my door so I glanced up and saw in the mostly open door the usual sight. Adam Douglas from two doors down in his usual jeans and red plaid shirt smiling at me.

"Hi y/n" He waves

"Hello adam" I answered not wanting to be immediately rude,

"Sooooo....Amy not here?" he asks glancing to her bed 

"No adam. Amy is not here" I told him 

"Cool. cool. SOoo uhhh where is she?"

"No adam"

"what? I'm merely curious where she is?"

"And you know full well Amy doesn't want me to tell you where she is"

"Please y/n"

"No. you might be my friend adam but Amy's my roommate, she says she doesn't want anything to do with you and to not tell you where she is when you ask so. I'm not telling you."

"Please y/n I just wanna know if she's okay" he pouts coming and sitting on my bed 

"No adam. You wanna know if she's on a date"

"well... is she?"

"I'm not telling you" I answered

"Please."

"she is out. not telling you where or who she's with"

"so she is with someone?"

"adam. she's your ex-girlfriend. let it go."

"I will if you tell me."

"she's out with Danny" I sighed

"DANNY!" he yelped

"adam"

"You know what. I know. and I'm cool"

"good" I smiled petting his fluffy hair "why are you so worried?"

"she's my ex. But... I still love her. I still worry about her and want to make sure she's okay."

"that's very sweet adam" I smiled "But she's fine trust me I'll look after her."

"I know you will y/n" He smiled giving my check a kiss "Thanks for... humouring me"

"It's fine adam." I giggled "I know you worry about amy. I think it's very sweet" I smiled 

"Did you wanna snuggle?" he asks 

"I'm not finished with my work"

"Can I snuggle and help with your work?"

"sure adam" I smiled moving back a little on my bed and letting him put his arm around me to have a cuddle.
