It's been a couple weeks since I've moved to National city and I wouldn't say it's normal but we have supergirl protecting it so I know I'm safe ish, there was an attack last week and I was saved by the most beautiful woman I've ever seen I hope to see her again without my life being in danger.
I'm sitting at a cafe watching the news it's been relatively quiet this week surprisingly but no complaints I'm sure supergirl has none either it would be stressful dealing with the pressure to save us all the time I wonder what she does on her off time can she even balance both lives I'm sure she doesn't just float around everywhere....

I wonder if she has a relationship if her partner knows she's an alien who risks her life everyday I had been so lost in thought I didn't even see the woman who sat down across from me "uh hello?" I look up to see her the woman who saved me "it's you, you saved my life" I gushed out she smiles "oh yeah it was uh nothing I'm Alex...Danvers I wanted to see how you were doing and if you wanted to hangout sometime you don't have to say yes of course I mean we just met for a couple seconds a couple weeks ago and I'm rambling and making myself look like a complete idiot aren't I..." I can't help but laugh and blush a little "it's ok your cute and yeah I would I'm new in town and I don't have many friends or any at all in general" her face looses colour it takes me a minute to figure out why "oh no no I mean yes I want to go out with you not just as a friend if that's what you meant but if you meant as a friend then that works too I mean oh yeah I'm making this much more awkward..." I trail off worried to loose the opportunity to get to know Alex "yes date that's what I meant and my sister and her friends are having a movie night if you would like to join" oh more people I mean there is a reason I don't have any friends I'm not good at socializing and or like many people I don't want to blow this tho "you don't have to I mean it's really short notice" she blurts out looking worried "I want to go with you I'm just not the best with people but I'll go I'm sure your sister is nice" Alex smiles and it's the most adorable thing ever "yes she is super nice and she's gonna have her girlfriend and a couple friends you'll like them plus you can always stay close to me" she takes out a piece of paper and a pen and writes something"here is my number I'll pick you up at 7" she smiles and leaves I can't help the stupid grin on my face.
Alex's POV
I'm basically skipping to Kara's I can't believe I found you well I mean I had Winn run facial from the attack and sorta stocked where you like to go and found you at your favourite cafe wow I'm a complete creep but it was for a good reason to make sure you were ok and you were so I asked you out.
I open Karas door she's just sitting in her pjs eating ice cream "hey you look happy today" she smiles "I am I have a date for movie night oh by the way I'm bringing a girl over for movie night" Kara squeals breaking my eardrums "oh my rao, oh my rao, oh my rao tell me everything" I laugh at my little sisters Interest in my love life so I spilled everything gushing over every little thing and telling her how I completely embarrassed myself in front of you.
