Your pov

You would think time travelling superhero's would be hard to capture wrong the team and I are chained to the wall of the waverider. My girlfriend reaches for her totem and gets herself out of the chains, as much as I love Zari she tends to think more revenge then logic so instead of getting us out she charged by herself. I panic seeing her loosing and try getting the chains off by ripping pulling tugging anything "slow down your not going to get anywhere that way" was Sara right yes, am I gonna listen no. My hands and wrists probably torn apart I ripped the entire chunk of the wall, hands still chained and dragging a giant piece of metal I run for the time currier, open a portal and tackle me and Zari into it feeling something pierce my skin. My whole life I hated geography because I sucked at it and at this point in time falling from the sky I wish I was good at it because not knowing what the difference is between latitude and longitude and not knowing how to actually use the currier will not be what I'm known for when I die.

As we are falling I see Zari's bracelet and hit the totem shooting us to the softest landing. So hey bales not that soft but we survived "wow the amount of times we escape death am I right" I joke to the brunette "Z?" I ask not hearing a snarky comment in response I look at the girl in a panicked state "shit shit shit shit" I check her pulse and let out a breath "oh thank god your not dead, just passed out you can't scare me like that, right passed out I'm talking to myself" I look around to try and see where the hell I brought us nothing comes to mind.

I see a truck in somewhat decent shape I guess "ok so you think the person will be mad if I take the  car" I look at the unconscious girl "your right we need it for good reasons they won't mind" I reply to myself. I pick up Zari and take her to the truck "keys still in the ignition see Z it's fate or luck but I'll take either let's go" I strap her in and drive in a random direction. "Wow gods feeling real generous today National City we can get help we are going to be ok" I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen and look down to see blood a lot of it "so I might have to take that back you seem like your gonna ok, me on the other hand odds aren't great, wow I'm definitely in shock because I'm not even scared that I might die I mean I'm scared but not as much as you'd think but I also am, I really wish you were awake right now this is pretty lonely I mean I'm practically dying alone, yup I'll start driving now instead of talking to air".

I make it to the familiar apartment building "ok we're here and I'm still alive which is surprising but I'll take it" I pick up the taller woman and carry her up some stairs. Once we reach the top I let out a breath "yay we made it and we're both breathing" I knock once and realize I need help and probably don't need to knock so I open the door stumbling in "Kara help please" I manage to say before collapsing with my arms around Zari making sure she's safe.

Zari's POV

I open my eyes to a bright room and loud beeping "what the hell..." then it hits me "oh my god y/n" I sit up seeing a cast on my leg "your awake" I heard a voice I look up to see a woman shorter then me with short reddish brown hair "who are you and where the hell am I" I reach for my totem ready to beat this girl up "Your safe y/n brought both of you to us" I take my hand back and nod "is she ok" I choke out hiding my tears "yeah she will be, she's not dying on my watch" the woman then leaves with no further explanation.

Another woman comes in she's shorter then the last "how is she" I ask desperate for any news "she's healing it shouldn't take long for her to wake up, how are you" I shrug "it's my fault that we're both here if only I would have thought things through for once we would both be ok" a tear rolls down my face "listen I don't know you but if y/n saved you she wouldn't want you to blame yourself and if a Danvers loves you they will do anything for you trust me" the woman smiles saying the last name "you know y/n" she laughs lightly "yes I was actually the one who brought you both here she collapsed in my house and she also happens to be my sister in law my name is Lena Luthor Danvers" it all makes sense the other woman must have been Alex "Zari Tomaz her girlfriend" I reach out my hand which she takes "pleasure to meet you" she sits down and we talk for a bit later Kara and Alex come in and join our fun little conversation.

Your POV

I wake up hearing laughter "that is loud" I grumble a few seconds later Zari runs up and hugs me "your ok" I smile and hug her back "of course I am I'm not leaving that easily" I see my sisters and my face drops "oh no your were telling her embarrassing story's weren't you" Kara bursts into laughter and I groan "oh god please no" Zari starts laughing and it makes any embarrassing story worth it.

Years later (little bonus I felt like doing)

"Mom what would you do to keep mama safe" Jazmin asks I smile as Zari blushes "well I will always do anything for your mama I always have and always will" Zari wraps in arm around me "like what" I look at Zari and she rolls her eyes "well I learnt geography for her" My wife bursts out laughing "how does that keep her safe" "well it makes sure I don't make a mistake like I did a long time ago that almost got us both killed" Our daughter very confused let's it slide while her mama dies of laughter because she made me learn how to use a time currier in case of another incident "anyway guess who's coming over" our 11 year olds eyes light up "My aunts and uncles" she squeals I nod she runs towards the living room window to wait later Sara Ava, spooner, Astra,Nate,Ray,Nora,B,Mick and Constantine showed up with their own kids they will someday be ready to be the new legends.
