Elena POV

We were in school and no one was in the same class as me for math except for Benny and yeah yeah.

Dionnes class was downstairs. Me and yeah yeah are in different grades, he's a freshy. But he has honors math so he's with the sophomores (me and Benny).

"Alrighty so there is a new student being introduced to your class" says Ms. lee. A boy comes out with short hair,glasses,skinny jeans, a black t shirt and a jean jacket over it. He was short.

"Hey my names Jason" he seemed like a smart guy. "Hi Jason" I said weirdly loud. Everyone else in the class giggled. "Everyone Introduce yourself. Starting with Elena since your right infront of me."

"Alright we'll my names Elena Missy Reyes I-" I got cut off by Benny who was sitting behind me.

"Rodriguez" he corrected me.

"Um no dont listen to him my last name is Reyes"

"Rodriguez"

I turn around and face Benny.

"Reyes"

"Rodriguez"

"REYES"

"RODRIGUEZ"

I turn back around "ANYWAYS! Im Dominican and Mexican, and I like to skate sometimes. I LOVE to play baseball, I love fashion and I have my other best friends that I love hanging out with. They bully me sometimes" Then I smiled. Yeah yeah threw a paper ball at my head and said "we don't bully you!!!"

"why are u screaming ur right next to me" i mumbled. Jason's eyes widened and he started chuckling. Then Benny said "my turn. My names Benny Rodriguez I LOVE to play baseball, I have a cute little sister named Flo-" I interrupted him "oh yeah she's so cute" then he shushes me "shut up it's my turn. You already had yours" Everyones chuckled. "Yeah and you interrupted my turn coño"

"And ny best friends named Elena and I have my baseball team. Squints, Smalls, yeah yeah, Bertram, Timmy, Tommy, ham, and DeNunez. and my best friends friend Dionne. I'm Mexican and Cuban"

yeah yeah made a circle with both his hands around his mouth and yelled "EYYYYY" they all started laughing. I smacked him in the back of the head since he was sitting next to me. "Ow" he started rubbing the back of his head and started fake crying.
Then the rest of the class Introduced themselves.

After the teacher did her math lesson the bell rang and me yeah yeah and Benny met up infront of Bertram's locker. "Hey asshole" I told Bertram. Then I leaned on the locker next to his with Benny infront of me facing Bertram.

He got his science book and closed his locker "Hey loser" he said to me then we started walking and talking with Benny and yeah yeah, Squints caught up with us and we said our Heys. He's in 8th grade so he's supposed to be across the whole school building, idk what he's doing on the hs side.

He walked with us. Squints saw Wendy peffercon and started staring at her walking away with his mouth hanging open. She's a Junior, we're sophomores, except Squints, Yeah yeah, Timmy and Tommy, Smalls, And Ham.

I was looking around for DeNunez but I couldn't find him. Me, Benny, Yeah Yeah, and Bertram all looked at each other and smiled. I walked next to his ear and said "imagine her kissing you" then Benny came and whispered "in the pool" then me and Benny stopped whispering to him and looked at each other giggling

Bertram came to whisper "...both topless"

Then squints closed his mouth and widened his eyes. He covered his pants with his hands and ran to the boys bathroom.

we all laughed at him and my knees almost went week from laughing

Yeah yeah had History, Benny and Bertram had science, but I had social studies.

Benny, yeah yeah, me, and Bertram did our group handshake that we normally do with all the sandlot boys and then parted ways.

Social studies was right across from the science class room so me and Benny had a perfect view of each other.

Me and Benny knew sign language because we had to take an extra class last year to get our grades up because we kept skipping class.

Benny signs 'how was your day' then watches me from across the hall on his chair. Then I sign back 'horrible now that I have a view of you' then I smile
He makes an offended face then signs 'whatever.'

I blow him a kiss to piss him off and he just kisses back. I roll my eyes then the teacher says "Elena eyes up. This class and the class next door are gonna take a test."

(Bennys teacher told him the same thing at the same time)

Then Bennys signs 'I love you'

And I sign back 'I hate you'

Then he signs 'impossible'

That made me smile and blush so I look away.

Bennys teacher: Benny shut the door please

My teacher: Elena shut the door

I get up to close my door and benny gets up to close his door.

He winks at me and I smile then close the door.

After that class

"I totally choked on that test" I said,  I was waiting for ham to get his books out of the locker

"What test?" Says ham, he closes his locker and walks next to me to our next class. "I had a pop quiz in social studies for questions we didn't even learn yet?!" I complained. Ham looks at me with a confused face then says "No way me too, I had one in English"

"I think everyone had that then cause Benny also had one" I say. "Oh" responds ham. Dionne runs up to me smiling "Dee!" I smile hugging her and kissing both her cheeks. Her hair looked amazing as always.
