BENNY POV

After I finished singing I looked at everyone else. There were so many different reactions.

Some people were crying, for example my parents and some of the guys parents.

Some of the boys were clapping but they didn't seem impressed. I'm not surprised they took Elenas side. They'll take her side any day

Some couples were holding each other, and other kids who go to our school were shocked, I mean I don't blame them since all I do is baseball

I clearly wasn't the best at writing songs since most of the lyrics were repeating

Everyone got up and started clapping but Elena didn't clap, she just looked down...but a small smile on her face and that reassured me that we're gonna be okay

Or I hope we are

I get off stage and the principal starts saying random stuff and I sit back in my spot behind Elena.

ELENA POV

O.m.g. HIS VOICE WAS AMAZING! HOW COME I NEVER KNEW THIS!

Was that song about me? I mean he was looking at me, I shouldn't have cried while he was singing.

Whatever not everything is about me so maybe it wasn't.

Also maybe me and Benny just weren't meant to be and I should let him go cause shit he sure did let go of me quickly

The vice principal called out "give it up for Elena Reyes and Allan Mclennan"

Everyone clapped and I walked up to the stage popping my knuckles, there was lot of people but it feels right to be on stage.

I looked at Scotty and smiled, he smiled back. I love these guys like brothers

Scotty held a thumbs up to me and I held one back. That was his and Bennys thing but fuck benny. Anyways lemme go sing this song completely about benny

I adjusted the mic to be lower down and i sit on the stool next to yeah yeah

I hired yeah yeah to do the guitar for me because he didn't know what to do for his talent and he's really good at playing Guitar

I saw benny looking at violets phone.

Violet was showing him something on the phone from behind him with furrowed eyebrows and a bitchy face.

I tired not to cry but a tear slipped and I immediately wiped it away. I asked yeah yeah if my makeup look bad "you look beautiful Elena don't worry" He smiled.

I smiled at him and sat back on my stool. Benny must really love her more. Was that song about her instead?

The lights dimmed so I knew I had to get ready.
