Puppy day

(I'm writing this in school on my computer. IM GONNA GET IN TROUBLE BUT OH WELL)

Today we agreed for Benny to come over so we can decide on what to name our new puppy and to buy the things she needs.

We know it's Christmas Eve so we woke up extra early to not waste any Christmas time. It's
6am and we're on the road in my dads car. Potato stayed home, my dads driving, Bennys in the passenger seat, and I'm sitting in the back looking at the sun rise.

The car ride is long since the 2 animal stores near us are closed because everyones getting pets for Christmas

Today's plan was to
1. get the puppy's stuff
2. get back home and take a nap
3. go to a restaurant with my parents
and 4. go to the Christmas  sleepover

But I'm sure something will get in the way.

We were gonna leave the puppy at home but my mom is asleep and Carla and Benny's dad are sleeping too, so we couldn't leave the puppy home alone.

Finally we're here

I unbuckle my seatbelt after my dad turns the car off and takes the key out the engine then unlocks the door. Before he gets out the car he tells me to wake up Benny since he was asleep.

My dad gets out the car and closes the door. I zip up my coat, then get out the car. I'm so disappointed in myself for wearing white air forces today, the snows dirty and it's messing up my shoes.

I open the passenger side door and move Bennys hair out of his face. He really wants to get a haircut but I like it the way it is. It's sort of giving me 'I-just-fucked-someone-but-I-was-to-lazy-to-fix-it' yk?

I smile just looking at him. He's actually so pretty I seriously can't handle it. His hairs so messy and he's so tan and pinky. And he has tiny freckles that he hates so much but I love them.

"Hurry up Elena" my dad yells, standing in-front of the store with his hands in his pockets and his hair tied into a small bun my mom did.

"Benny wake up we're here" I whisper, playing with his hair

"Hm"

"Wake up pretty boy we're here" I whisper one last time. He slowly wakes up.

I take the puppy out of his hands and unzip my coat then put her in with me, I hold her inside my coat so she doesn't get cold since I don't have a dog coat small enough for her yet, my grandma said I should just get her a build a bear coat.

He zips up his coat and puts his hat on then steps out the car and closes the door. We start walking towards my dad

"Elena put your hat on" Benny says putting on my hat.

"Whyyyy it's so uncomfortable on my head" it's true, it was so fluffy I could barely see in front of me

"Because your gonna get sick" he smiles

"Also you look cute" he adds

We go inside the store and my dad takes the puppy and warms it up with his fuzzy gloves

After 1 hour of getting the puppy stuff, we decided on naming her. Nugget, sorta like chicken nugget.

I don't know what it is about me but I love naming animals after food but i'll probably keep calling her baby since i'm used to it so me and benny are stuck between naming her nugget or baby.

I'm pushing a cart full of stuff like cat and dog christmas pajamas, pet beds, food, treats, toys, a cage, shampoo, animal body wash, a comb & a car seat
