"Madelyn wake uuupp" I say sitting next to her

She sits up scratching her head "huh?"

"the guys wanna meet you" I smile

"Oh okay" she smiles excitedly

"Get out I have to change" she pushed me off the bed. I stand up and ask her

"Okay okay wait, can I wake up Lucas"

After a while of her debating she Finnaly gives in and sighs "fine, just don't hit him with a bat or anything"

I hide my bat behind me and she stands up to go shower exiting the room

I put the bat away. "Alright mr Lucas" I mumble to myself. I grab an empty water bottle and run downstairs to the kitchen and fill it up with water but bump into my mom on the way out the kitchen

"Oh hey mom gotta go Bye" I run up the stairs not letting her finish her sentence

As soon as I run up to Madelyns room I go to the other side of her bed where Lucas was sleeping and I pour water on him then hit the water bottle on his head

"Oh come on" he laughs waking up

I fall of the bed laughing hard because of how stupid he looks HIS SHIRT IS SOAKED AND HIS HAIR IS DRIPPING

"I'm gonna get you back for that" he stands up and looks in the mirror at his wet clothes

After my laughter dies down I stand up and say "Mady said to go get ready my friends wanna meet you"

"Meet up where?" He asks

"At the sandlot duhhhh!" I yell at him and smack the back of his head. I sigh

"babe Isn't it to cold to play in the sandlot" he crosses his arms. "no we put a big clear roof and walls over it so now we can play, there's also a heater. So it can be JUST like summer in December. But Mr Mertle wants us to take the walls down in a week or two because it prevents Hercules from going on his laps around the Sandlot" then I run out the room before he can ask anymore stupid questions

"El throw it to second!" Benny yells over to me Swinging the bat around

He kisses the ball and hits it to me then i catch it and kiss the same spot he did. I throw it to Bertram who wipes it on his shirt disgusted "Yuck you got lipgloss all over it El!" and he throws it to DeNunez.

DeNunez gets in his windup stance then throws it to Benny then benny hits the ball hard.

Our eyes follow the ball to see where it would go and when it went to the entrance of the sandlot

We saw Luke, Shawn, Madelyn, and Lacy all duck down so the ball doesn't hit them

"Jeez Benny" says lacy and she flips him off.

I put my hand on my hip facing the 4 other teenagers who walked into the sandlot  "Welcome!" I raise both my arms up and smile, they chuckle.

I feel someone behind me so I turn around and the second I do Yeah yeah scares me.

"OH MY GOODNESS!" I yell with my hand over my chest.
