After I was about two miles away from my house I slowed down my run to a steady jog. I jogged for a little while before stopping at a park about three and a half miles away from my house. I put my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath. In and out. In and out.

"You stalking me or something?" a voice said from behind me causing me to jump.

"GOD! YOU SCARED ME!" I said jumping spinning around to see Kyle just standing there with his stupid face. "I'm not stalking you, this is where I come to think." I replied rolling my eyes. "What are you even doing here? I mean I heard you were into younger girls I just didn't think they meant this young." I said pointing towards the play ground equipment. He laughed before turning and sitting on one of the swings. There was no one else at the park but then again it was eight thirty on a school night.

"That was cute Carter but the youngest I'll go is sixteen. Despite my reputation I'm not a perv." he replied beginning to swing back and forth on the swings. He called me Carter... that was a curve ball I wasn't expecting. I honestly couldn't think of a single person who called me by my last name, but if Kyle Henderson did then it must be an acceptable thing to do. It astounds me how he make something as simple as calling me by my last name sounds so sexy. "So what are you doing at my park?"

"Your park? I didn't realize you owned this park." I replied taking a seat on the swing to the left of him.

"Well it is directly across the street from my house so..." he said pointing to the big brick house across the street. I turned my head away trying to hide the fact that my face was the same color as a fresh ripe tomato. If he hadn't already thought I was stalking him, he did now. I guess it doesn't really make sense why someone would run three and a half miles to go to a park when there was a perfectly good park across the street from their own home, you know unless of course they are stalking someone or crazy.

"I honestly had no idea that was your house. I had to get away from mine and this is just where I always come when I need to escape. I'll just go." I say getting up and starting to walk away.

"Oh come on I was just joking with you!" He said grabbing my hand to stop me from going anywhere. I hesitate turning around because if I do he might want to know what's wrong and though this secret is eating me up inside I'm not sure Kyle is secret worthy yet. When I finally turn around to face him the smile on his face grows and his eyes light up. He's still holding my hand which surprises me since I'm facing him which I thought was the sole purpose for grabbing my hand in the first place. He's still holding my hand, still has bright eyes and is still grinning like a fool. With his free hand he brushes a stray piece of hair out of my face and tucks it behind my ear beginning to lean in.
