After about 2 hours of driving something hit me like a ton of red bricks.

"Holy shit!" I screamed causing Kyle to momentarily lose control of the car. Once he regained control he pulled into the shoulder and stopped the car.

"Are you fucking kidding me Francesca? What the hell was that? We could have died!" He screamed looking over at me.

It took me a whole minute before I was able to answer still in shock about the thought of dying next to Kyle Henderson while my mother thinks I'm with my best friend and my best friend thinks I'm at home grounded. "Sorry I just realized I'm in a vehicle with someone who has been drinking and I'm not big on wanting to die!" I screamed back.

He slammed his head back onto the headrest. "It seriously took you 2 hours to come to that realization?"

"Well I was a bit preoccupied thinking about lying to my mom and best friend for the first time. So yeah it just hit me!"

"I don't drink. Unless I'm at home or somewhere I know someone else is gonna be driving home sober. Think whatever you want but I wouldn't knowingly put you in danger." He said taking a deep breath before starting the car back up. I waiting until it seemed that he had calmed back down before speaking again. In that time I just admired his face, practically flawless even at the wee hours of the morning. He most of seen me looking because his face just broke out into his million dollar grin causing me to look away.

"So are we just gonna sit here in complete silence?" I asked readjusting myself in my seat. 2 hours of sitting in a car becomes more uncomfortable then one would expect.

"Well we don't have to... I'm just not talking because you aren't talking." He said keeping his eyes on the road. "What do you wanna talk about?"

"What's your middle name?"

"What?" He asked taken aback by the randomness of the question.

"You heard me." I said confidently. He scrunched up his nose and glance over at me before taking a deep breath and answering.

"Michael."

"Seriously? Huh. Kyle Michael Henderson. Not bad."

"Oh we're you expecting something more exotic?" He said smiling but keeping both eyes on the road.

"No I'm just saying it's a nice strong name, that's all."

"Well Michael was my grandfathers' name so..."

"Which side?"

"Both actually." He replied. "Yeah both my father's and mother's dads were named Michael. It would have basically been illegal to give me any other middle name." He laughed.

"Well I think it's nice." I said. "You probably want to know mine then, huh?" I asked looking at him.

"Only if you wanna tell me."

"Francesca Renee Carter, it's not after any family members my mom just like it." I said shrugging.

"Francesca Renee... Yeah that fits you."

"Thanks." I said feeling my eyes get heavy. I was trying to make the best of this trip and honestly Kyle wasn't the worst person to get stuck with. I wondering if this will change up at all. Will this be different in the morning or on Monday when the weekend is over and we are back at school. Part of me wishes it would be and the other part knew that Kyle was Kyle and after this weekend he would forget all about me and my secrets. And with that thought I felt myself slip away into darkness.
