I got back into the car and buckled up. "Where to now?" I asked looking over at Kyle.

"Well..." He said yawning, his head rested on the steering wheel. "A hotel would be nice, but unfortunately we have a few other stops." He said lifting his head up and starting the car.

He pulled onto the main road and began heading to our next destination. There was only silence in the car and with me now sober the silence was bothering me. "So you gonna tell me about yours?"

We stopped at a red light, and he looked over at me. "About what?"

"Your first kiss..."

"And why the hell would I do that?" He asked as the light turned green.

"Because I told you about mine."

"And..."

I looked over at him. He had always looked older then everyone in our class, like old enough to be in college. As a freshmen, a senior girl asked him to homecoming thinking he was a senior that had just moved into town not a freshmen who had just started high school. Now at 7:45 in the morning he didn't look like a 20 something year old, he looked about 16, he's normally flawless face had dark bags under his eyes due to the lack of sleep from last night.

"Fine, it was in 8th grade at Samuel Ross's birthday, during a game of spin the bottle."

"Spin the bottle? Who was it?" I asked. Thomas and I had gone to that party. That was where he met Veronica. I vaguely recall Kyle being at that party, let alone playing spin the bottle with us. I sat by Thomas during that game and when it was his turn he spun it and it landed on me, but it wasn't like our first kiss because I know he had wished it had been Ronnie instead, fortunately for me she didn't play.

"Stacy Evans..."

"Didn't you date her?" I asked as he pulled into a McDonald's.

"Yes, unfortunately that stupid game got me caught up in an awkward situation resulting in me dating that spoiled brat." He replied as we got up to the drive-thru menu. After checking to see if I wanted anything he order and pulled forward. "I wasn't even supposed to have kissed her. The bottle landed on the girl next to her and because no one was really paying attention Stacy moved it and it was on her." He said handing the employee his card and then receive his card back and his bag of food.

"Wait so Stacy cheated? At spin the bottle?" I asked somewhat surprised. Stacy was a spoiled rotten diva but cheating at spin the bottle seemed a bit childish of her. The more I think about it, the more it actually makes sense.

"Yeah but it's whatever that was a long time ago." He said blowing it off. "The other girl was too busy staring at her crush, so it didn't even matter. She wouldn't have wanted to kiss me anyway."

"You wanted to kiss her, didn't you?" I asked poking his arm. "So was this a girl you had a crush on, or something?"

"Or something."

I was gonna pry some more but decided to dropped the whole thing for now cause he didn't seem willing to share. I'm honestly a bit disappointed with myself for not remembering more about that party. I guess I was so caught up in me noticing Thomas noticing Veronica to really remember all the useless details. It wasn't until we parked on the side of a busy L.A. street that I noticed Kyle had completely devoured his breakfast.

"Okay get out." He said unbuckling and getting out of the car.

"So what deep thing are you gonna be sharing with me?" I asked slamming the passenger door closed. I didn't recognize the street mostly because I had never been too many places in LA but there were a ton of people walking up and down the sidewalk.
