"Augustus, that is not a good thing for you to do!" Mrs Gloop shouts at Augustus as he drinks chocolate out of the river.
"Because there isn't a whole room of other sweets is there. He literally said enjoy the room and the first thing you do is go after the chocolate 7 billion others will have to eat." I say rolling my eyes; keeping my hands on Charlie's shoulders though.
"Hey, little boy, my chocolate must be untouched by human hands!" Mr Wonka says awkwardly.
Augustus then falls into the river of chocolate. "Holy fuck." Out of the corner of my eye, I see Mr Wonka rolls his eyes dramatically. Giving an almost I knew this would happen look.
"Cassie, mom says you shouldn't use language like that." Charlies tells me off. I mutter a quick 'sorry'.

"He'll drown- he can't swim! Save him! Augustus!" Mrs Gloop cries.
None of us move to help the boy. I don't want to risk anything happening to anyone else. Sure, I feel guilty but there's not much I can do now.
"Augustus, watch out! The pipe!" Mrs Gloop cries to her son.
We all watch as he spins round in circles with the pipe sucking up chocolate. He then shoots up the pipe.
"There he goes." Violet says.
"Call the fire brigade." Mrs Gloop shouts in distress.
"Its a wonder how that pipe is big enough." Mrs Beauregarde says. She's a rude woman, I really dislike her.
"It isn't big enough. He's slowing down." Charlie says anxiously. None of us want to see this but none of us want to look away.
"Hes gonna stick." Mikes right.
"I think he has." Mr Teavee says following his sons statement.
"Hes blocked the whole pipe." Mr Salt says noticing the the chocolate getting stuck underneath the boy.

"Look the Oompa Loompas." Charlie says pointing at the dancing men.
"Back off, you little freaks." Mike says rudely.
"Look its not my place to tell you to shut up, Mike but they are just trying to do there job so they get payed and can do well in life. Thats something you don't have to worry about yet. Leave the Oompa Loompas alone." I say getting annoyed.
"What are they doing?" Veruca asks curiously.
"Why I believe they're going to treat us to a little song! Its quite a special occasion, of course, as they haven't had a fresh audience in many moons." Mr Wonka answers finally speaking up.
The Oompa Loompas then run onto the bridge and river banks and start singing.

Augustus Gloop, Augustus Gloop,
The great, big, greedy nincompoop,
Augustus Gloop,
So big and vile,
So greedy, foul and infantile,
'Come on.' We cried. 'The time is ripe
To send him shooting up the pipe!'
But don't, dear children, be alarmed
Augustus Gloop will not be harmed
Augustus Gloop will not be harmed.

Although of course we must admit
He will be altered quite a bit
Slowly, the wheels go round and round
The cogs begin to grind and pound
We boil him for a minute more
Until we're absolutely sure
The out he comes! And now by grace!
A miracle has taken place
A miracle has taken place
This greedy brute, this louse's ear
Is loved by people everywhere
For who could hate or bear a grudge
Against a luscious bit of fudge.

The Oompa Loompas finish their song and run off. Augustus shoots up the rest of the pipe.
"Well that was an awfully rude song. Poor Augustus is going to need therapy and is still going to have insecurities." I say quietly apparently Charlie heard me since he looks at me sadly. I just smile slightly to show him it doesn't bother me talking about it.

"Bravo, well done! Arent they delightful? Arent they charming?" Mr Wonka says excitedly clapping.
"I do say, that all seemed rather rehearsed." The British man says and I can't help agreeing with him, it doesn't seem like im the only one either.
"Like they knew it was all going to happen." Mike says. Im suprised to say this but I do agree with Mike.
"Oh, poppycock." Mr Wonka says brushing off Mike's and Mr Salt's comments.
"Where is my son? Where does that pipe go?" Mrs Gloop asks desperately. I feel bad for her, sort of. If that was Charlie I would be doing more than just asking Mr Wonka. I also wouldn't be standing there during the song.
"That pipe? It just so happens to go to the room where i make the most delicious kind of strawberry-coated chocolate fudge." Mr Wonka replies not really helping the poor womans emotions. Normally I would appreciate this type of sarcasm but not while someone is trying to find their kid. A kid that could be near-death at this moment.
"Right, Wonka, please just tell the woman where she can find her child." I say getting annoyed after blanking out of their little conversation.
An Oompa Loompa arrives.
"I want you to take Mrs Gloop to the fudge room, 'kay? Help her find her son. Take a long stick and start poking around in the mixing barrel, 'kay?" Mr Wonka says to the Oompa Loompa before the cross their arms across their chests and bow to each other.
Mrs Gloop then gets her dress pulled on by the Oompa Loompa and they walk off.

"Mr Wonka?" Charlie asks. I put my arm around his shoulders protectively. I'm not having something like that happen to him, he's a good kid.
"Huh?" Wonka turns around to face Charlie.
"How would Augustus' name already be in the Oompa Loompas song? Unless they." Charlies theory gets cut off by Wonka speaking.
"Improvisations is just a parlor trick. Anyone can do it." He turns towards Violet. "You, little girl, say something. Anything."
"Chewing gum." Violet says. Why did I expect her to say something else.
"Chewing gum is really gross, chewing gum i hate the most. See? Exactly the same."
"At least someone agrees chewing gum is horrific." I whisper to Charlie.
"I quite like it, my friend gave me a piece at school once."
"Which friend?"
"John."
"My friend John or a different John."
"Your friend John but he's my friend too."
"Of course he is."

"Now on with the tour." Mr Wonka says ending mine and Charlie's conversation.
"John prefers me." I whisper before heading over to the river bank with Mr Wonka.
"No, he doesn't." Charlie retaliates grabbing my hand. Charlie looks deep in thought before he asks "Cassie, were the Oompa Loompas really joking?"
"Of course they were, Charlie, Augustus will be fine."
