34: "Daddy's girl" "Mommy's boy"

What if the other kids bully her?" I say getting worried for my daughter after drop her off for her first day of school.
"Darling, why would they do that?" Willy says trying to calm me down.
"Kids are horrible. What if she doesn't like school? What if she hates me for making her go?" I continue to panic.
Willy stops walking, her grabs my hand and spins me to face him.
"Liana will be fine, anybody picks on her, she will stand up to them, she won't stand for it. She won't hate you either, you're her mother. She loves you, even if you force her into school." He says holding my hands. I nod.
"Archie is sat at home with your parents, we have a few more years before he starts school, let's take advantage of that." Willy says before we start walking again, fingers interwined.

"Mommy." Archie says hugging me quickly letting go to hug his father as well.
"Gummy bear, you are going to work with me today. Mommy's coming as well." Willy says to our son. Archie nods excitedly.

"Wow." Archie says looking at the inventing room. None of the kids are allowed in here due to Violet blowing up reasons also the fact if one of them messes with the recipes Willy may have to restart.
"Remember, gummy bear, no touching." Willy says sternly to which Archie nods. "Remember, darling, no touching." He then says sternly to me. I smile and nod anyway.

"This is the chewing gum. Archie want some?" He hands the piece of gum to Archie. He looks at me almost asking whether he can have it or not. I only nod because I can see Willys confident look.

Anxiety builds up inside me when I realise its the 3 course meal chewing gum. He gets to the blueberry pie part.
"Shit, shit." I mutter over and over. Luckily, my son doesn't turn blue or blow up like a blueberry. "Thank god."
"Didnt trust me?" Willy asks.
"I trust you, I was just scared." He wraps his arms around my waist. I close my eyes.
"Mommy, its okay. Daddy wouldn't hurt me." Archie says looking at me.
"I know he wouldn't." I say kneeling infront of my son. "I was just a bit frightened is all."

Archie comes to pick Liana up from school with Me and Willy.
"Mommy, Daddy!" She says running up to us with a big smile on her face. "School is amazing, I loved it."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it." I say smiling at her. "Have you got everything?" I ask. She nods.
She grabs Willys hand while Archie grabs mine and we walk home.
"Daddys girl." I whisper to Willy looking at Liana.
"Mommys boy." Willy whispers back looking at Archie. We both smile knowing we have a happy family.

My phone starts ringing when we reach home.
"Cassie, you wont believe what just happened, im coming to yours now." John says and before I can say a word he hangs up.

After 10 minutes, John's in my house.
"Right, big news." He says excitedly.
"Which is?" I ask.
"Tom proposed to me." He says before jumping up and down and showing me the ring to which I start jumping up and down with him, clapping.
"I'm so excited for you, John." I say, hugging him.
I then get a call off Tom, a very worried Tom.
"Cassie, thank god you picked up. Wheres John? I proposed and he said yes but then he rushed out and I don't know where he's gone. What if he doesn't want to marry me? Shit I've messed up." He starts to ramble.
"Woah, John's with me. He was telling me how excited he is. I'll tell him to get back to yours. Stupid asshole, gets proposed to and then leaves. John! Go home! I've got a worried Tom on the phone!"
"Bye, Cas." John shouts before leaving.
"He should be coming home now. Congratulations though. Its about time one of you proposed." I say back into the phone.
"Thank you, Cassie. See you later." Tom says before hanging up.

Willy gets back about 2 hours later. He sees my happy smile and gives a confused look.
"I love to see you happy, my dear but whats going on?" He says grabbing food out of the fridge.
"John and Tom are engaged." I say happily.
Liana walks in. "Whats engaged?" She asks tilting her head to the side in confusion.
"Well, cocoa bean, its when someone asks you to get married. Its in between being together and being married." Willy answers. She nods her head in understanding before running off to watch YouTube.
"Its about time they got engaged, I mean they stare at each other like the other is the only one in the room." Willy says.
"Its cute. Im happy for them. Plus I stare at you like that." I say looking at him, going to stand next to him.

Tom and John are having a small wedding which suprises me. John invited his parents but they didn't reply. This upset John a lot. His happy day and his parents refuse to be there. He invited my parents and they said they would happily come. Toms parents are going. It only took a month. So today a month later, John and Tom are getting married.

John's sitting doing his own makeup, I offered to help but he refused it. So we are listening to music together, trying to get rid of his wedding nerves.
"Shit." He curses.
"Whats wrong?"
"I'm scared. Why am I scared? I love this man with all that I am." He says to me. I shrugged knowing that's exactly what I felt.

The wedding was short and sweet. John and Tom wanted to go home and sleep by the end of it. I didnt blame them, weddings are exhausting. Thye are having their honeymoon in a couple weeks. They wanted to spend some time together alone before heading off.

"Cassie?" I hear John's mom say to me. I was cleaning up.
"You missed the wedding. You broke his heart. He wanted you to be there more than anything." I say never facing her once. I continued to clean up.
"Where is he?" She asks hesitantly.
"At his. They are having time together." I reply.
"Cassie, please. Dont be cold with me."
"You deserve it. John only wanted his parents to be supportive of him but you couldn't. God knows why. You're not ruining his wedding night." I say angrily facing the woman.
"Cassie, call him." She demands at me.
"No." I reply before walking over to the bin. She grabs my wrist and the collar of my shirt. I always hated this woman. She never really liked me either.
"You will call my son, I want to speak to the disgrace." She says through gritted teeth.
"How about fuck no." I say. She tightens her grip on me.
"Mommy." I hear Archie faintly. She lets go of me and faces the him.
"Whats up, kiddo?" I say smiling at him. He gently grabs my wrist and kisses it, noticing the red mark.
"You have children?" Johns mother asks.
"Yes." I answer shortly.
"Why was she hurting you, Mommy?" Archie asks looking at the woman.
"Your Mommy refuses to do something for me." She answers.
"Violence is never the answer. I cant hit Liana when she doesn't listen to me, you cant grab Mommy when she refuses. She refused for a good reason. Leave." Archie finishes his speech before pointing at the door. I look at my son proudly. I pick him up.
"Well done, kiddo. You really told her." I whisper before kissing his cheek.
"I hope you burn in hell, Cassie Bucket." She says.
"Cassie Wonka, thank you very much." I say.
"Wonka?" She asks rudely. "As if you got married to your childhood crush, you aren't that lucky."
"She is." Willy says wrapping his arm around me.
"Leave." I say opening the door for her. She reluctantly walks out.

I call John.
"Guess who I just saw?"
"Who?" He asks out of breath. They must of just been making out.
"Your mother. She threatened me to call you so she could speak about how much of a disgrace you are. She may try to speak to you. Ignore her." I say.
"I will, thanks for telling me, Cas. Now I have to fuck my husband see you later."
"Bye." I say hanging up.
