CHAPTER 20
AVRIONNE'S POV
It is six in the evening and the hallway started to get quiet. The school ground is clear and no one's outside but the school heads.
Our room is ensuring closed as well as the windows. Some of my classmates were praying and some are preparing. We don't even have something to use for a fight. We aren't allowed.
They said it was included in the rules that weapons and fighting materials were all hidden in somewhere. We should find it on our own, before the other members from the opponent could do.
I looked up the sky through the small space at the broken part of the window.
The thunder and the lighting addends the heavy tension covering the whole place. Nagsisismula na 'ring magdilim ang kalangitan at pumatak ang ulan.
"Iris."
Napalingon ako sa aking likuran kung nasaan si Dahlia.
"Natatakot ako," pag-amin nito tsaka yumuko.
So am I.
Lahat ay nananatiling nakaabang, naghihintay sa bawat hakbang na isasagawa.
"Kung mamamatay man ako sa laban na 'to. Gusto ko sanang sabihin sa sinomang makakalabas ng buhay na hanapin ang kapatid ko. Kinupkop siya ng bagong asawa ni Mama bago mamatay at alam ko'ng 'di maganda ang estado ng pamumuhay niya roon."
"Ako rin, sana masabi niya sa Lolo kung gaano ko ito kamahal."
"Sana mabigyan ng hustisya ang panggagahasa ni Terrence Lorkner sa ate ko na mula sa Gems." Napangsihap ang aking mga kakalse sa itinuran ng isang lalaki mula sa Diamonds.
"Stop wishing for someone to do it for you, do it by yourselves instead. We are going to step out of this place alive.We are one, no one must be left behind."
Pinunit ko ang damit na suot tsaka ito iniladlad upang irolyo paikot sa aking dalawang kamay. I closed my fist and stared how my nerves slowly appeared.
The game is just starting.
Ting! Ting! Ting!
We became attentive when the sound of the ring of a bell echoed in the whole place. It started to get darker.With this view, we can see the whole area down there. Naaantabayanan namin ang mga kaganapan.
We froze when unknown people walked out from somewhere, wearing a black hood that covers their whole body, even their face. In front of them is a small fire that made the area smokey.
I raised my one hand and moved my index finger, commanding them to hide down.
We are surrounding the whole room around with an empty space in the middle of it. The lights are off and no electricity is available as of the moment.
"May we present to you these traitors of CGD High! Disqualified! Death as punishment!"
Isang babae ang lumabas mula sa Gymnasium area. Luhaan ito at sugatan habang kinakaladkad ng tatlong nakaitim na lalaki.
"W-Wag! P-Parang awa niyo na! W-Wag niyo akong..p-patayin! P-Pakiusap!" pagmamakaawa nito tsaka lumuhod sa harapan ng mga nakaitim na tao.
They were four, so I assume they're the CGD Heads.
