Lukas POV

I woke up feeling exhausted. I decided last night I was going to call Alex this morning. I thought I should take baby steps to telling August the truth.

Clicking his contact on my phone and dialing his phonenumber. The phone started to ring, until the other line picked up.

"Hello Luka!"

"Hi!"

"What's up? How are you?"

"I called you because I have something to tell you."

"Mkay!"

"I'm pregnant," I heard his phone thud onto the ground. Then footsteps running back to it.

"Who did this?" He sounded angry.

"Don't be mad, Alex. We were both drunk. I wanted to tell you sooner but I wasn't sure if it was true," my voice is cracking.

"Okay. Hey, don't cry. I'm not mad at you," He reassured.

"Mkayy. But August is the father. I don't know what to do."

"I'm coming over, right now."

"Un," is all I could say. He hang up.

"Lukas it's me!" Alex said, while ringing the doorbell.

I opened the door.

To my surprise, he hugged me. I heard Bailey whine.

"Look it'll be okay. You're not alone in this. Your older brother will help you through anything!" He said with confidence.

My hands clutched onto his back and sobbed into his chest. Bailey came to us, wagging her tail. Trying to comfort me.

"I'm scared of what will happen. I care for both Aug- August and th- the unborn baby," I said through tears.

"I know. Have you told him?"

"No. Lawrence told me to do it when I feel ready," he patted my back.

"He's right but eventually your belly will show and he'll know."

"I'll prepare myself before then," I said with a brim of confidence and a cheeky smile.

We broke apart our hug and laughed.

"Do you want me to make breakfast before you go to school today?"

"I'm okay. You'll most likely torch the house with your cooking."

"Hey at least I try!"

"Hahha."

"Hi Bailey. I haven't seen you in a while," she wagged her tail and started to bark.

She got really excited.

"You saw her like 2 weeks ago."

"Exactly," He declared, "now, whose a good girl!" he said while giving her belly rubs.

I sat down. Looking at the stove.

Shoot. It was 9am. My class is soon.

"I gotta change then head off. If you're going to stay just lock the door when you leave."

"No need. I've no reason to be here now. Goodbye," He said while hugging me.

"Mn. See you later."
