Lukas POV

-a month later-

August's parents suddenly bought us a house. We had to move in. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a basement and a huuuge living room.

Since the birth, sometimes I get queasy and weak. The world will shake around me.

"Waaaahh" Julius broke me out of my thoughts.

I quickly scurried to his room. Picking him up gently, cradling him.

"Mommy's here now" I smiled.

He babbled at me, smiling profoundly.

August is at work.

He's been stressed about me. I tell him not to worry but he does anyways.

I sighed.

Julius stinks. Oh lord.

I set him down on the placemat. Changing his diaper.

I'm glad I learned how to do this from mom.

"All done!" I exclaimed at him.

He garbled happily. I laughed, picking him up again.

"Daddy will be home soon, okay?"

He responded with incoherent speech.

"I'm home!" August shouted.

Bailey came running to the door. Wagging her tail.

Bailey loves Julius. Julius loves Bailey. They're inseparable. He's always playing with her fur, she's always licking him.

"Welcome home" I greeted him at the door.

He kissed my forehead.

"I missed you" He whispered to me.

"Un. Me too" I said shyly.

Julius was in my arms, he looked at him excitedly.

"How could I forget about you?" He laughed.

Picking him up, out of my hold. He kissed him on the head a ton, Julius only responded with giggles.

"August.."

"Mn?" He was coddling Julius.

"I was thinking... maybe we could have a party? With our friends" I asked, "like a pool party" I gazed at him.

"It's October" he laughed.

I pouted, "fine, just a party"

"Sounds good... hii Bailey"

-a week later-

"He's too cute" Amber giggled.

I nodded.

"So who's the godfather?" Belle asked.

I already know the answer.

"It's Lawrence. We already discussed it with him" I smiled.

"It fits him the best"

Belle nodded, agreeing with Amber.

"He helped me when I was pregnant"

"Oh wow"

We broke into small talk.

"So when's the wedding?" Felix questioned, suddenly joining the conversation.

"Um. In about 6 months or so"
