Lukas POV

(Will be memories of Lukas from different parts of his life)

"Let's be friends" I felt a sudden attraction to him. His name is August. He has really messy black hair.

"Stop it!" I yelled. The boys were playing with my hair. Twirling it and braiding it. It hurt. I was crying a bit.

"You're so pretty. So soft" one of them said.

"It's like you're a girl haha!" A boy joked.

"Hey! Hands off my brother" Oh, it's Alex. He pushed them aside. "Who made him cry?" He demanded. August was behind him. August helped me up.

"Alex. Don't bother with them" they all ran away, terrified of Alex.

"They're always doing that to you" He sighed.

"Are you okay?" August asked. I nodded. Alex picked me up.

"Let's go home!"

"Bye August" I waved to him.

"Byebye" He repiled.

August and I are going to the same elementary school! We had the same teacher as well. I am going to be a 4th grader. The teacher all handed us papers.

"Let's say a meteorite was going to crash into earth. Who would you spend your last day with?"

I thought really hard about this question. I could think of no one else but August. I folded my paper up into an airplane. Packing it away into my backpack. I looked to August. He looked somewhat puzzled. He was sitting afar from me. I made another airplane and flew it to him. He looked towards me. He smiled. He finally wrote on his paper.

I smiled in return. The teacher yelled at me for playing around.

"Give me the test results" my mom said. I handed her the paper. I'm disappointed in myself. I didn't want to be an omega. A recessive one at that. "It's okay Lukas. I love you no matter what" she smiled. Already seeing what's on the paper.

"But aren't you disgusted with me?"

"No. Of course not. I could never be" she hugged me. "Mom will always protect you" she beamed.

"Thank you" I smiled.

Eventually I told August that I was a recessive omega. To my surprise he didn't look shocked.
