"Come on in," Era said while busy coming up with a sound integrated marketing communications plan for the upcoming clients they have for Magnify.
She was beyond delighted with the traction they created due to the last advertisement for a fast-food chain. Hindi man siya sumang-ayon sa una dahil sa budget issues, Michelle made sure she covered for the excess costs. For her, it was an unnecessary spending, mabuti na lamang at naging successful ito.
"Hindi mo man lang ba sasalubungin ang dati mong boss?"
"Sir Andrew!" She immediately stood up and hugged her former boss tightly.
"What brought you here?" She broke away from the hug at iginiya ang dating boss sa sofa. She pushed the intercom button and instructed her secretary to bring two sets of juice and water.
"Well, Sir Henry learned the beautiful advertisement Magnify did to the red bee." Nagdekwatro ng upo ang dating boss habang pinagmamasdan ang maumbok niyang tiyan.

Era grabbed the glass of orange juice and sipped. "Yes. I am four months on the way." She smiled widely at hinimas muli ang tiyan.
"Kaya naman pala ang buwenas ng Magnify, pinaliligiran ng buntis," her former boss stated then chuckled.
Alangangin siyang napangiti. "Sir Andrew, so Sir Henry noticed the ad?"
"Alam mo naman 'yun, updated sa mga nangyayari. He even scolded me why I let a gem like you leave," ani Andrew.
Andrew Angeles was the cousin of Henry Angeles of Optimum and they owned multiple international hotels. He was a very busy person, kung kaya't nagtataka siya na nalaman pa nito ang tungkol sa Magnify.
She was about to say something when light knocks on the door halted them.

"Thank you! Go ahead, sit," she happily retorted. "Have you met our Chief Operating Officer and creative director, Era Marie Anderson?"
"I know her too well, Michelle. She used to be my marketing director in Cebu!"
Michelle felt she swallowed her tongue on the information she just heard. She could feel something amiss. Hindi niya maturol kung bakit ganito na lamang ang kabog ng dibdib at ang reaksyon ng katawan niya. Tila mas may gusto pa siyang ungkatin. She felt the sudden rush of blood in her system, as if her body was telling her something?
"You worked for Angeles Group? When?"
Nilingon ni Michelle si Era na tila nagulat din sa sinabi ni Andrew Angeles. Thoughts are starting to assault her in all directions, but she managed to keep her poise.
How come she worked in Cebu? Maraming pumapasok sa isipan niya, ngunit sinawata niya iyon. Maybe she went in Cebu for personal reasons?
"I think, She resigned from Defy for personal reasons. It was almost a year ago, right, Era?"
Bumaling si Andrew kay Era na sinundan din niya ng tingin. She could see uneasiness on her part, and Era just nodded.
