"Sister, you okay?" Autumn asked as she walked in my room.
I blankly looked at her while balled up under my covers and turned up the speaker in my room as "Never Find Nobody Like Me" by Amanda Perez played.
"Bae, this girl is depressed forreal." I heard her yell over the music to her phone so I assumed she was talking to Shooter.
I looked at my phone as another call from a private number came through. Already knowing who it was, I rolled my eyes and declined the call.
"Alexa volume down 10." Autumn said loudly and I looked at her wondering why she was even here in the first place. "One, you know that man is not going to stop calling you. You gon make him pop up over here. Two, you cannot be laying up in this bed listening to sad songs all damn day."
"I can and I will. Fuck him. And if he think about even coming here, he gon get another black eye to match the right one." I said. "Alexa volume up 10."

"I can't believe Kai is about to be one already." I said while talking to Dave on FaceTime.
"Me either. Shit went by fast as fuck. Now she bad as hell gettin' into everything."
I laughed, "Leave her alone, she's not even that bad."
"Let her stay with you for a day and you'll see what I'm talkin' bout."
"We gon see. I'm upset I'm missing her party, I really wanted to be there." I slightly pouted.
"It's okay Phat. You know she love her Yani regardless."
I smiled at the way he mimicked how she says my name, "I know but I can't help but to feel bad. Make sure you record when she opens my gift."
"I'll call you."

"Let me call you back later though baby. I gotta make some calls and make sure shit is together for tomorrow."
"Go ahead. I'm probably about to go to sleep."
