CHAPTER 1
THE BEGINNING
I always was a rebellious spark. It didn't take long for my parents to figure that out. By the age of three I was already getting in trouble at day care. By the age of six I had gotten into a fight and broke a poor boys nose. But rest assured, he deserved it.
By the age of twelve I was regularly visiting the principle and getting in trouble with authority. By fifteen by parents got tired and we moved to California, USA from London. It didn't help much because now I lived on the beach next to hot surfers. I still remember my mum explaining that we had to move. "Ruby darling," she said, "We just need a fresh start." She didn't want to say it was because of me.
As soon as I was eighteen, I ran back to London, dyed my hair with red lowlights, and got a job at a café. I went to college and man, did I grow up. I haven't seen my parents since I came here though. We had quite the blow out...
But that's alright, I'm doing fine now. I am twenty three and got a nice little apartment and a normal life. Well, at least I did, 'till that day when I met the Doctor.
