Welcome to the first book in the Darling series!
Your presence is very welcomed here. And also very appreciated.
Inside Darling came to me as a completely different story with zero similarities to the one you're about to read, and maybe I will write that story idea one day, but Inside Darling is prioritizing all of my attention.
I'm so in love with all of these characters (even the bad ones) and I'm so excited for you to get to know them such as I have. They all are a little piece of me (my personality, skills I may have, or even fears). This is the first thing I've written since Before the Night She Left that I can fully connect to in some way. Other stories I've attempted to tell fell through and it took me over four years to realize it was because there was no connection between them and me.
There will be a ton of character growth, a love triangle (it's the one trope I am obsessed with. Don't come for me), strict parents, first times (wink wink), and a castle! I've always wanted to write about castle life, but I never knew how. Hell, I still don't and I'm winging it and googling every little thing. So, some things may not be correct. But that's okay. It's fiction.
